If car arrive > Sept, can i still cancel order? biggrin.gif
*
Were you asked to sign the loan by the bank or SA? One bank loan officer told me loan offers are valid for 3 months.

bank called me direct saying loan approved

valid 3 months meaning if we dont take delivery of the car, it will auto cancel hp loan even if we signed? hmm.gif
*
I'm not sure about the auto cancel.

IMHO reducing the safety aspect of your car is not the way to go. I'm not sure if smoked lights are illegal in Malaysia but it's illegal in certain countries.
*
Agree. Some went overboard and made their lights so dim.

But the ECO mode automatically turn off when more than 120kph. How come like that?
*
That means you are not driving economically.
FYI, the formula to calculate resistance includes v². V is velocity, which means at higher speeds, the resistance increases exponentially so to speak. It has been said that the optimum speed for best FC is at 90km/h.

My new persona not like that. Its still ECO even if I pass 120kph. Same for my bros altis. I guess if ur going at a higher speed but its constant its still considered economical.
*
In that case, i stand corrected.

Currently drive wira 1.5 and axia, im sure myvi 1.5 pickup will definitely better than these two haha

Will only use the car for weekends only tho, normal work days use train, so fc not really a concern but good to know that smile.gif
Yea currently I'm more towards the myvi 1.5H, but still never driven or ride in one haha. Btw is the advance model really worth the premium over the 1.5H?
*
Curtain airbags, leather seats and ASA will be more than worth it. And the last thing you want is to regret not getting the top spec.

*
Oops, my bad. I didn't buy Myvi as the SA could not promise arrival before SST.

I see Michelin got only these two tyre for 195/55/15 size, XM2 and PS3. Not sure the exact price but try looking at lazada both price are about the same maybe PS3 a bit higher around rm10-30 only. From what I know, XM2 and PS3 is a different tyre. XM2 is more 'eco', save fuel, comfort(maybe quieter?) and also last long while PS3 is a performance tyre, best in wet and dry which I think one of the best performance tyre available we can fit with that size.  thumbup.gif

Now I not sure which one to buy. haha
*
No need to think twice. Buy PS3 and thank us later.
One female driver who know nuts about cars told me how her car now drives like in normal weather even in super heavy rain after Installing PS3.

Anyone know if I cancel the booking of the myvi how much should I paid to bank to cancel the loan?(I already sign the loan agreement ).
*
This is probably too late to ask, but din't you read and or understand what you signed for?

AFAIK, there is no penalty for cancelling the loan by cancelling car purchase, as the agreement is only supposed to be enforced after the car is registered where the bank has disbursed the money to the dealer.

You might want to check with you bank to be sure.

what is 3 click thing?

One-touch signal. You lightly touch the signal stalk and the signal will blink 3 times and switch off again without you having to switch it off.

So lucky.. I ordered my Advance early Aug, until now the salesguy (as of yesterday) cannot even tell me the estimated delivery date. He only whatsapped me the updated price with SST.

Feels like forever cry.gif  cry.gif

You booked in Aug? FYI, I asked for adv model in end May. The SA could not promise delivery by End Aug.

Hi guys, i am wondering what kind of tires good for myvi? I heard michelin energy tires are good... any comments?
*
Define good. Good price, fuel economy, durability, grip, etc? Some even choose tyres based on how the tread looks like.

If grip and handling are the priorities, I also suggest PS3.

Hi all,

Here is my problem. I noticed a very loud sound at both rear side especially driving on wet road. The water splashing sound around both rear tyre can be heard obviously.

Does anyone face similar problem? I tried looking for a solution online, however mostly suggested putting the extra 3M rubber along the door. Not sure will this solve the problem
*
Just like bezza? The sound is so loud, macam you forget to wind up rear windows?

While we are at it, why not throw in 8AT, 1.5TC engine and Volvo-specced collision avoidance system?

Hi sifus,

Just bought and install Yi Mini Dashcam on myvi
But the dashcam are not turning on when plugged in the cigar slot
When use normal power plug to usb,it can turn on

so i wanna ask does anyone having some output voltage/current issue also at the cigar outlet? seems in my opinion the output is not enough to turn the dashcam
*
Few reasons:
1. The ciggy lighter slot : fuse blown, poor contact with the plug. I've once powered 3 dashcams and at the same time charged my hp using a single ciggie lighter slot (vios) so i assume it's usually sufficiently powered.

2. The supplied power cable is defective (plug side, cable continuity issue, mini usb plug contact issue)

I just hardwired my A119 and tapped it to the same fuse as you. But I am having an issue of the dashcam restarting everytime the start/stop engine restart.

The only different is I am using a 2A fuse instead of 5A for the dashcam but I doubt that causes it. Do you have any issue on your auto start/stop?
*
You will probably need to tap from a fuse which power does not get cut off during auto idle. The head unit fuse probably?

Bro tesh94,

You should go back SC and get the smart tag reader check.

My friend's super dark tint can't even see the roadtax sticker and his smart tag reader works perfectly fine.
Ciaowwws!
*
Darkness sometimes does not affect the sensor. It's to do with the material.

Hello sifu2 semua. 2 days ago my meevee couldn't start.. Upon hitting brakes and pressing the push to start button, the engine revs but couldnt start. Stereo is working. Not sure about lights. After trying multiple times, I tried pressing on the accelerator while the engine revs. The engine starts normally. So far no similar problems these few days.. No nid press accelerator to start. Im worried that in the future my car won't start at all. Is there anything wrong with the battery or starter? Car just serviced 2 mths ago.. It's only about 10 months old, 1.5l high ver.
*
How did the engine rev if not started?

sry the more appropriate word would be "crank"

i've sent it to service centre to do a checkup on the batteries, they said its a bit undercharged (?) and theyre forwarding this issue to the HQ, suspecting problems on the alternator. waiting for their response.

I see. Hope everything turns up well.

Dear 1.5 AV owners, how much is your windscreen insured?

I'm about to renew my insurance, just want to know if I should take full amount for windscreen (RM1600 covered), the price is quite steep..
*
Premium is 15% of sum insured. I suppose you can under insure a little to save some money. Depends on your risk appetite.

Reminds me of my own experience. Wanted to save some money so I didn't cover windscreen for that year, because I never once claimed windscreen after so many years.
Sekali, my windscreen cracked after a drive on NSE. Paid out of own pocket.

Isn't it water? why yours sirap and sirap bandung colour?
I topup mine every time i pump my tyres.

The one you top up with tap water should be the windscreen washer tank. The one in the photo is the coolant expansion tank, or spare tank. I hope you didn't get them mixed up.
