The above requirements are based on my opinion and are not the official requirements. Still, its to be expected.
How about Shader Models requirements? Will the game be strictly SM3.0? Racing Need For Speed: ProStreet V1, The Challenge continues to V2

QUOTE(almostthere @ Oct 7 2007, 10:58 PM) Listening to the OST now. Seriously kicksass. Hope the game play is just as kick ass. Seriously Carbon was a disappointment for me. Too easy in story mode. Even when using muscle cars Uncle, so fast you get the OST? Cannot tahan is it? If NFSPS have LAN, next time I'm in Melaka, LAN with me ok? |

edison: No ler, for fun only. Don't ah play to win, tak syiok.
Even thought they learn about clutch kicking all, I predict they will only simulate the feel. Not putting it as one of the moves in the game. Because NFS never meant to be simulation. It will stay arcadish because I bet EA don't want to lose their casual customers who don't give a flying fark what moves those are. Of course, don't take my word for it. In NFS Carbon, there's a clutch function. You don't need to use it when shifting gears but hey, it's there. |

Fuiyoh! S15!!!
Now only left NSX. When la EA, when? Another thing, I bet you guys already know that EA will update the game with the actual 2008 Nissan GT-R after Nissan announced it officialy at Tokyo Auto Show. Hell, they will even update the demo itself which currently contained GT-R Proto. This post has been edited by chapree: Oct 11 2007, 06:13 PM |

QUOTE(Games For Windows @ Oct 18 2007, 08:38 PM) I don't think so. If not I would have known about it sometime ago. I seriously don't think EA BlackBox would want to bring DX10 just yet, as they would be cutting a huge chunk of gamers (DX10 GPU + Vista). FASA Studios went bankrupt for doing so (Shadowrun game developers, DX9 but need Vista I hope this will be true. |

QUOTE(vailance @ Oct 24 2007, 01:38 AM) so actually for pc demo when coming out?? end of this month or b4 the week proS 12th nov coming out.. cant wait man!! End of this month or early Nov.Actually, only 360 get the demo early. PS3 demo will be the last to appear. QUOTE(gnome @ Oct 24 2007, 05:33 AM) Just tried the demo and looks like i'll pass this one Comparing it with PGR would be too much la, bro. Different beast. Well, different pple, different opinion eh? It only have 2 game mode, grip racing and speed attack or whatever it was called and you can only use 2 car. GTR-prototype for grip and M5 for speed thing. Here's my opinion based on the 360 demo Pros - cool smoke - pretty detail car models with decals and such - damage Cons - inconsistent framerates - bad car handling (imo) - bad camera angle - weak sound effects (car engine in particular) Look like i'll stick to my PGR4 Anyway, there is M5? I thought they only have M3 Another thing, React Team already just got their website online http://www.reactracing.org/ Added on October 24, 2007, 10:10 amUpdate: Just found out they do have M5 in the game...I think. Kev: Exactly. What's up la this year at TSB?
vailance: I'm not sure myself. Try check EA Singapore website. I just finished playing the demo on Xbox 360. I also like Siebel, have a mixed feeling about the DEMO. It doesn't really help when you play PGR4 demo right after that. To me, the handling was a bit different from Carbon. Slightly harder but it's no way near PGR handling. Damage does have effect on the car but to me, it's no significant enough except in Speed challenge (depends on which part is damaged). In Grip racing, the game have racing line indicator during corners. If your speed is too fast, the line will show red color and turn into green as your speed goes down. Last but not least, the Hood view. It's no longer in the middle. It's on the left side. Realistic a bit lolz In a nutshell, I felt the demo doesn't show much. It's just a short sneak peak. |

QUOTE(allvin @ Oct 30 2007, 11:06 PM) that's the culprit. Don't expect lappy graphic card to be the same "level" with desktop version. You need to choose the right game. Seriously, Crysis is meant for top level hardware. Trying is ok, but don't complain when you can't run it with your preferred settings. About sense of speed, from the 360 demo, Speed Challenge did give a nice sense of speed. But nothing changed in Grip Challenge. The simulation-like style made things felt a bit slow. Guess been playing arcade style for too long already. |
