okok guys if i buy the dell 228WFP and upgrade the warranty to 5 years, will i still get 1 to 1 replacement if anything goes wrong after the 3rd year? Like maybe dead pixel or LCD cant operate?
1 more thing, if i received the LCD which has a dead pixel, what should i do? Call their 1800 and lie to them that the LCD cant work so i'll get a new one? Advice needed here! Thanks

My dell 24' lcd monitor has arrived . The problem is,  there is this mouse lag  ( or input lag, some call it)  issue. Very obvious in FPS games.

I am running on ati 9800 pro with a DVI-I connection. Could it be that not
using DVI-D connection  that cause this mouse lag problem?

I'm also an owner of the Dell E228WFP. Got it last week (took about 4 days from order). Quite pleased with the monitor, good value for money.

Mine is Rev A02 - how about everybody else? I read in another forum, apparently can tell which panel by looking at the last letter in the serial number. Mine ends in "S", what's yours?

Guys, I m planning to buy the Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP- HC 24" Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor. My current graphic card is AGP Radeon 9600XT. Can it support the 24" LCD monitor? My major task on it will be normal office works, internet browsing and movies. Not so into games. Please advice.

Where is that? I could only find "Xvid Encoder" and "Divx Decoder" in my program group.

hi everyone. i've been goin through this thread (not all 70 of them of course ) and my choices have boiled down to either the 206bw or the 226bw. the price diff between the two is generally less than 200...but i've heard that the quality is better on the 20 cuz both models have the same per pixel (...) somethig like that. i'm also a bit worried about the panel..heard that i shud avoid the A panel, and that S was the best. some recent posts also mentioned about lag, though i think my x2 3800+ and x1950pro with 2gig ram shud b fine for the native resolution no? if i cant play at the native and only at 1280 for example, would the screen look weird?!

my lcd would be mainly for watching series/movies and gaming. wud really appreciate any input from owners of both models. thanks a bunch!!

What make u say that? Anyway the samsung 20" 206BW has 3000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms which other cheaper brand dont hav or u just dont care about gaming image quality etc.

i loled reading your post. 20" at 1680x1050 is perfectly clear, and those claims of font being too small is just so funny!!!    As a matter of fact, that is the way it should be, 30" at 2560x1600, 24" at 1920x1200, 20" at 1680x1050, 19" at 1440x900 - And those 4 resolutions at their respective size has the same font size. 22" at the same resolution of 20" is just pure ugly, blurry and unsharp. I looked at the 22" dell at fair yesterday and i almost puke of the quality, viewing angle is terrible! I shifted to the right a little and the big color change is so obvious! It is nothing but a value product, nothing to be excited at all about the quality of the unit. At the end of the day, if it is not about the excellent dell warranty, dell 22" is just a big screen low quality product at a cheap price. it is popular not because of the quality, but because of being the cheapest 22" money can buy. And that's the FACT!
