oh ya... anyone using radeon x1950? I am using CCC 7.5, there got an option which is "Use center timings" which is to turn off image scaling for non native panel resolutions, but after enable it, and tried on 1280*1024 resolution, it also will stretch to the edge of the screen. How to solve this?

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 16 2007, 08:24 AM) LOL..Nice all in one LCD (with webcam, usb hub, SUBWOOFER its that pixelation or artifacts... both are different... pixelation is just like aliasing u seen in games, artifacts can be seen more as blocksEven with 720p, you can still feel slight pixelation (not really noticeable) and you will notice that it is not that smooth as well.. s not that smooth as well.. i do feel weird that when watching 300 in 720p format, there's so many tiny dots floating around, like inperfect analog tv signals, is it because of the outcome of HDCP bypassing when attempting to rip from HD-DVD? QUOTE(maru @ Aug 17 2007, 08:50 PM) xvid/divx ah? depends on the bitrate lor... but after applying deblocking, accesible via xvid decoder configuration in k-lite mega pack, it will look as good as viewing it in 17" , at the cost of higher processor resource, but its piece of cake for dual cores nowadays |

I also cant find any Dell monitors being sold cheaper than here after looking at SG, HK, CN, TW, US websites, I mean the price after conversion
but if u work in SG, SGD1000+ for a 2407, its less burden than here which is rm2200+ , if taking dollar per dollar basis |

QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Aug 21 2007, 08:10 PM) Oh no... Why so many Dell LCDs suffer from bleeding? Now I'm a bit worried from that monitor shown in that pic, I think its eligible for RMA alrdy http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/383529 QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Aug 21 2007, 09:32 PM) my 228WFP no bleeding or dead pixel..... no matter how good it is, TN panels will have backlight bleeding, turn off the light in order to capture the maximum level of bleedingtotally fine! or its just myself who dunno how to see the bleeding thing? mine one the 'bleed' pattern is very even, unlike some other units which is more apparent on certain sides |

QUOTE(youngkies @ Aug 26 2007, 06:46 AM) is it not advisable to get a widescreen for 19"? just wanted to get a temporary 19" LCD. widescreen is better for multitasking and viewing widescren moviestypical 19" vs. widescreen 19"? QUOTE(kianwee @ Aug 26 2007, 09:18 AM) It is selling in australia for $999. After conversion it is more than 2k here. Samsung PC LCD price is always tend to be on the higher side. Most importantly, is the quality that matters. 22" for rm2k will never worth the money in any caserather get a Dell 2407, It has composite/S-video input as well, dunno got HDMI or not... but more importantly it is full HD |

QUOTE(watsup99 @ Aug 27 2007, 11:06 PM) DVI connection no need further adjustment aside contrast/brightness and color. Coz all are in sync pretty well alrdy-- the gloosy thingy is good for LCD TV, but not for monitor, coz the dirt and finger print and scratches can easily be seen on monitor |

QUOTE(clivengu @ Aug 30 2007, 03:04 AM) oh.. that is a bad bad news for me.. for me rm 700 for a lcd is oredi consider very expensive TN panel LCD is the de facto for LCD monitors. Its cheap and fast response rate, but downside is lower color dynamics and narrower viewing angle than PVA or MVA panels. What is TN panel LCD? I notice ther r 2 type of LCD right? one is with the soft screen..when u press on it..u'll c d colour changes.. another one should be solid glass type.. which r best to get? I think i'll put widescreen into consideration... good for watching movie too.. QUOTE(yangxi @ Aug 30 2007, 08:48 PM) its very attractive, but you should search for some review first before buying |
