could be 2nd row seat if no1 sit on it...
is the metal U bar below the seat causing the sound...
you can try by flip 3rd row seat and bind it to the 2nd row.. see the sound still have or not (as it giving weight to 2nd seat, to make it more stable instead of jumping)
*
I tried yesterday fold 3rd row seat and the sound no longer there, maybe i try add some rubber at the U bar and see.. thanks

QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Sep 15 2018, 08:05 AM)
maybe caused by the safety belt knocking to the side plastic ?..
or at boot try side right hand...small compartment that keeping tire opening tools drop off then knocking the body metal ?

btw...the sound from front or rear ?
*
the sound come from behind, it is metal knocking sound, i think the 3rd row seat U bar causing the sound, will try add rubber to that place and see.. thanks

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Oct 19 2018, 09:17 AM)
yesterday night, i drove my wife's BRV back from my office to my house. return trip 90km.
traffic condition - very low

i did average speed of 80km/h and below 2k RPM with the ECO lit up all  the time.

from the full tank, only 1 bar is consumed and i achieved 19km/l average FC.
normally, i would achieve 13-14 km/l FC though with average speed of 90km/h and above.
and then the estimated fuel range showed me max of 650km before need to refuel (normally only 550km)

not bad, can still give a fight to my city hybrid (average FC 25km/l).  laugh.gif
*
i noticed the 1st few bars from full tank will go down very slow, after about one quarter tank gone, the bar go down much faster

my car average FC around 13.5km/L, 80:20 (highway:city), almost same as my previous Grand Livina 1.6A

the km/L on the meter quite accurate, it is about + or - 0.2km/L difference compared to my calculation

power brv 1.5 won GL 1.6 ?
GL seater very soft .....
brv definitely noisy ...

i compare power when going up hill without hard pressing the accelerate, brv can maintain speed or even accelerate, GL will slow down unless i force low gear

just did a FC test yesterday to test how high can the km/L if I drive slow, here's the result:

Attached Image
42.4km of highway drive yesterday night (70-90km/h)

Attached Image
continue another 68km (28km city (0-60km/h with traffic light and traffic jam)+ 40km highway (90-110km/h)) drive today morning

looks good.. my normal drive FC around 13km/L, that is around 30% extra mileage if I can drive patiently!

maybe you should open your bonet, ask someone start the car so that you can find where the sound come from..

the best way is to send your car to honda service center

rear one got cooling coil as well, but if front not on, then compressor not running, then rear will be just only fan
