QUOTE(mi-g @ Jun 20 2018, 11:56 AM) kinda. logitech Unifying technology allows multiple device (logitech only, obviously) to connect to 1 single Unifying dongle. Logitech items without this Unifying technology cannot connect to Unifying dongle. However if you can get a working non-Unifying dongle, there's a Logitech software that can help re-pair the device with the dongle. Meaning if i have two devices (keyboard and mouse), i need two non-unifying dongles? I think i can live with that. Currently i managed a workaround by following the video earlier. I took of the housing and straightened a bent part. Seems to work so far, but im not sure if it will still work if i go mobile with the laptop again.

Getting Started

|
https://www.logitech.com/en-my/product/wireless-combo-mk345This one? The specs say it is not compatible with unifying receiver. You have to buy a replacement receiver made just for that combo. Not sure if available in MY. http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/...345/spare-parts

QUOTE(mi-g @ Jun 19 2018, 08:40 PM) last time i'm working as logitech distro RMA technician, i use to have tons of that lil dongle.. by using unifying software, any logitech peripheral can be connected to this dongle (even its never been connected before) but then again that was 7-8 years ago, now working in different field and yeah, its not bluetooth based best you can hope for is some /ktard who have spoiled logitech mouse/keyboard to donate his working dongle Say, want to ask. My K400 wireless keyboard after about 7 years, now a bit wonky. Most of the time it doesnt detect...turn on and off 3 to 4 times only can detect. I have changed a different Unifying receiver, but still the same. So does it means its the keyboard problem? If yes, i have to buy a new K400 again.

Ic thanks...looks like have to buy a new one.. This K400 is unique product. No other competitors i think. Its robust too. Always dropped on the floor from the sofa. Until one time a key also pop out but can fix back. I thought microchip can last forever....lol.
