Resident Evil is always a PlayStation title for me. So as much as I like the ray tracing and DLSS features on the PC version (which makes the console versions look dull), I "feel" better playing it on a PlayStation.

Will probably just double dip though.

To make the characters look more like ordinary folks because they are pushing for realism. The whole point of face scanning is so that they can use models that resembles actual human faces, not some sex-up idol from concept arts.

It makes sense in a way. I mean, who the heck wears a cheongsam in a middle of a zombie apocalypse as a triple agent? Dafuq???

Might as well not call it a game then.

I have no problem with them pushing for realism, my problem is how the girl character just doesn't look as nice as previous game. Not about their costume or anything, just by their looks. No as nice personally.

Well most ordinary folks don't look very nice in reality. I remember capcom saying with RE7, the reason people don't look like they are some 3D'd anime fused western character is because no one in real life looks like that. They are continuing this design decision and I think it's pretty much their vision for the future of the RE franchise.

Not that I personally like it either... because I do like some unrealistic flair.

Yeah not a bad thing actually. Ada at least looks alright not so much different, but Claire looks very different.

Still hopig there is VR for this game, would be great.

Watching too much of this game is bad. But hot damn is it looking great.

only 2 version for disc version ?????? standard and CE ?????

dang collector edition look nice but too expensive for me TBH......
