KK mart have separate fridge that has big whole glass sticker on it. I think this way much better. So idiots like this no excuse to kacau.
Basically their complaint is having the beer in same fridge as the non alcoholic drinks. So its either this speed mart not so SMart or those penungang agama starting their shit hole behaviour again. |

Lol..funny, eventhough its not right to do that, but u gotta understand...this happens inside a kampung, a really big malay kampung..and even the 7e few steps away from this speedmart also not selling alcohols. Kesian this speermart baru 2,3 days open dah kena lol.
See, why give chance for them to do this? Since its like their teritorry, its kinda like provoking them, and when they did...all the talibans words comes. Funny..its nothing different from selling porks inside a market of 99% muslims, just inviting problem, lol. Jz my 2cents. No vromm pls. |

Should've just protest outside, make a nice letter to speedmart and complain to the local authorities about this. No raiding like this where someone might get a bit hot headed and go full retard.

Actually where is this? This is a vital question.
From what I read above: This is somewhere near Ipoh? In a Malay kampung where 99%(? please verify) population are Malay? This shop just opened 2-3 days? So if we try to look at this issue from the viewpoint of business, why would you want to sell alcohol in a Malay kampung with 99%(?) Muslim? You know Muslim cannot drink alcohol. So who are your customers? So in the end you just rugi liao? |

This really shows that extremism is still going well and alive in malaysia
And funny how proud defend this "99% malay muslim population wor. Why sell beer?" No. If u Muslims Why the hell do u wanna buy beer? No self agency? No self control? No brain to think? These people action insinuate that we muslim cant differentiate whats haram and whats halal Its insulting. Its the shop right and prerogative to sell whatever they want, inclusive beer The onus is on muslim to not buy them. The teaching isnt "go confiscated every haram stuff available in the whole world" The teaching is "dont consume haram stuff" Its ur personal responsibility Apa hal pulak serbu kedai Whats next? Serbu kandang babi? This is ridiculous |

QUOTE(amon_meiz @ May 25 2018, 03:07 AM) This really shows that extremism is still going well and alive in malaysia Exactly. Well, these groups got ntbd perhaps..and since its their 'teritory', hence such raids happens...lel. Could be avoided by a simple research by the owner, but well..perhaps that little 'off the book' respect for the ppl there is out of context. This is ridiculous Its just not wrong, but its still not so right. Well, depends on ppl whether they know how to 'off the book' respect others, or just being provocative and play the race card afterwards. |

QUOTE(eddy_87 @ May 25 2018, 01:25 AM) Lol..funny, eventhough its not right to do that, but u gotta understand...this happens inside a kampung, a really big malay kampung..and even the 7e few steps away from this speedmart also not selling alcohols. QUOTE(eddy_87 @ May 25 2018, 01:42 AM) Pakatan. DUN Manjoi, parlimen Tambun. Both Pakatan win, lel. First of all, the law says that if you have the proper permits or licenses you can sell alcohol. The law doesn't change if it's a malay kampung or chinese kampung or indian kampung. The law is the same regardless of the demographics of the location.I find it more like provoking them, u dont see them do that at other places do u? Masuk kampung org, jual arak.. and its not a multiraces kampung i can assure u. Second, how is selling of alcohol considered provocation? If you don't like it, don't buy. Nobody is forcing anybody to consume alcohol. |

Instead of letting Muslims think and choose, they say no you cannot choose. I'm taking away your right to choose. |

logic
1. check if this premise has the permit 2. check if with permit, did they follow the rules on those haram beverages (display rack etc..) 3. regardless of if they comply, no individual should act on their own. if they can do it, might as well as just sack all civil officers (PDRM, JPJ etc..) |

i know that when speedmart was opened in my area last year, they also initially sold beer in their premise. One day after it opened, 'orang masjid' came and told the supervisa to remove all alcoholic beverages from the shop. Reason being, the area is 'tanah rizab melayu' so no other race lives there except bangla, india india (you knowlah) some more all their staff were muslim malay also.
the next day it was remove. Senang.. |

QUOTE(Sycamore @ May 25 2018, 01:58 AM) Actually where is this? This is a vital question. Even if it's 99%:1% you can't just outright denied the right of the 1%. Unless it's 100%From what I read above: This is somewhere near Ipoh? In a Malay kampung where 99%(? please verify) population are Malay? This shop just opened 2-3 days? So if we try to look at this issue from the viewpoint of business, why would you want to sell alcohol in a Malay kampung with 99%(?) Muslim? You know Muslim cannot drink alcohol. So who are your customers? So in the end you just rugi liao? Let the market dictate it. If no one buying, they also won't restock. |

wow im very sorry that some extremist fanatics are doing this.
people wanna do business also kacau. if a muslim waltzes in and simply get 1 bottle. then there's something wrong with the person itself. why kacau business orang, you can rush all the stores in Malaysia but if someone wanna drink they'll look for it also. cigarettes are haram too since it's harming the body, why no rush everywhere? |

QUOTE(wanted111who @ May 25 2018, 09:05 AM) Even if it's 99%:1% you can't just outright denied the right of the 1%. Unless it's 100% Please notice I never said such decision is right or wrong (morally).Let the market dictate it. If no one buying, they also won't restock. Please notice I also never said you "cannot sell" or "outright deny". What I just said is: let the market dictate. I said the businessman shouldn't sell there because it's not a wise thing to do. There are speedmart stores that did not sell beer. These stores are mainly opened in malay populated area like seri iskandar. However, there are also 99speedmart stores that sell beers in malay village like those in taiping. The reasoning is that nearby populations got chinese and indians so, they are catering to these population. The reason behind this attack might be from seeing the shop operated by a malay muslim manager and manned by malay muslim staff but sells beer. They might not know who is the owner of these grocery store and assume the manager is the owner.
Btw, even if sharing fridge, they do separate the beers from other drinks with a wall inside the fridge and tinted the glass door to hide it from view. |

QUOTE(Sycamore @ May 25 2018, 09:31 AM) Please notice I never said such decision is right or wrong (morally). From business viewpoint, they have many chain throughout Malaysia, and they have their own fleet of van to help with products distribution. They can easily move the stock from one chain to the other. Please notice I also never said you "cannot sell" or "outright deny". What I just said is: let the market dictate. I said the businessman shouldn't sell there because it's not a wise thing to do. I'm saying from the viewpoint of business. Nothing wrong with stocking all items in that store and let the manager decide later what can sell, and what can't. Then move the unsold items to the other stores and bringing in more hot items. I understand that they are new there, they can and have capabilities to test the market in that area, 7-11 nearby aren't selling alcohol, means less 1 competitors. QUOTE(SeriouslyTho @ May 25 2018, 12:55 AM) no offense but this is the dumbest thing ever if you actually think about it. what about those chinese muslim or indian muslim? how would the cashier know that they are muslim in the first place? I agree with youthis kinda shit is a joke. you cannot eat/ drink because of your religion then fuck off somewhere else.. i dont see indians (maybe wrong cause ayam no indian) and cinis pipu (whoever pray the god god thing) butthurt when you all sell/eat beef? fucking pathetic la i tell you.. this is the reason why some part of malaysia can NEVER move forward and advance. if you found something wrong, report to their staff, report to their hq, report to police, and so on so on. NOT by causing a fuss there, that is not the right way. to clarify my statement that im writing, im not scolding muslim but scold those group of ppl who cause a fuss bcoz those type of ppl exist everywhere, chinese got, indian got, etc etc they like to å°äº‹åŒ–大 (small issue make it big), got many free time. they even exist in politician that's why malaysia so maju but now with new government, hopefully none of this type of ppl exist. QUOTE(hardreality @ May 25 2018, 09:39 AM) I've never understood this muslim logic. When they go to other countries with 99% non muslims, they want to demand islamic rights. But when they're 99% muslims it's "we're 99% muzzies, you nons stfu!" And when nons tolerate their intolerance, they step all over the heads of the nons. E.g. America only 3% muslims but demand for their mosques to blast prayers through loudspeakers, even suing companies for got letting them take 30 minute prayer breaks. But when Uyghur in China or muslims in France forced to remove headscarves, "islamophobia! Ditindas!" card all come out. They so desperate in making islam "the best" It's like hypocrisy and taqiyya is a virtue or something. Well, these talibans are drawing a salary to enforce imaginary shariah laws. If there are no demons to catch, they will invent demons so that they can continue receiving a paycheck. Rezeki halal kan? Luaskan kuasa islam They forgot islam also promote respect other people Respect their religion Respect their culture And respect their society This is what happens when some "scholars" decide to preach on dominating instead of coexisting It nurture a zerg hive mind instead of people living in harmony with each other despite their differences This post has been edited by amon_meiz: May 25 2018, 01:11 PM |

Instead of keep blaming them, i can say we can blame them for not doing the correct way like give notice to speedmart ownner, report police first, etc. What i can say, they might understand the problem at their village, dont assume selling this at location majority non muslim is same with selling at location with 99% malay. Ini. Saya setuju Just become "it never happen" is not a valid reason to raid other people Voice it out at proper channel As per law. U can only sell alcohol after apply permit from majlis perbandaran So go there. Voice your complaints Dont go raid other people store Thats wrong QUOTE(meteoraniac @ May 25 2018, 06:36 AM) Exactly thisQUOTE(mrpotat @ May 25 2018, 07:07 AM) I know youre upset with this, and I am too (a Moslem), but if we pause back and look this whole situation we might be able to understand whts this group rationale behind the mob, hold your emotion and find out exactly the reason. however I didnt condone this kind of self-vigilante, do it via proper channel. Theres no rationale raiding other people store Why should i hold my emotions but they didnt? Im free to make my comments and criticism So voicing opinion also haram now? Is thid what islam taught u? |

QUOTE(andyng38 @ May 25 2018, 11:29 AM) Yup...7-11 and 99 speedmart in Seri Iskandar do not sell beer, and the Billion supermarket in SIBC is also alcohol-free. No prob to me cos I don't take it. U need to go to Lahat or Tronoh for that. But the food there is a prob to me. Chicken chop, lamb chop, burger repeated in shop after shop after shop ad nauseam. Vegetables cooked to the point of disintegration. Serious question: are there any non-halal coffeeshops/cafes/restaurants in that area where I can have a change of menu? Any help will be most appreciated! |

“No, I want you to respect me this, give me your right as minority without any condition.
This is my home, I want to blast the prayer loud, this is my right. I need not to respect your minority right, if I say my family don’t have freedom of belief, then you better don’t tell them there is such thing as “freedom†in this world.†said the hardcore. To hardcore hardcore “Majority†residents in the earth are not your gang, would you and your hardcore gang move to moon? Even if the you and your hardcore gang want to move to moon, they are still going to take kapal angkasa yang dibuat oleh non-muslim, jews and babi babi lain. If hardcore and gang can’t understand what mean “respecting minority rights†and I think they better start building their own kapal angkasa. With the world getting more globalize, hardcore in kampung-kampung will realize they can’t hide inside their cave forever when the superpowers start knocking your door at the doorstep. Like how the British brought immigrants into Malaya few hundred years ago, were the Malay able to tell British “No They did not and they were incapable to do so, hence babi babi and drinkers like us are here. Since we are already here, why not together we build the country to a height that it could potentially be? Because sooner or later, superpowers will be doing the same to you and your hardcore gang if your country is not strong / especially so if you don’t recognize minority right, so why should they? So hardcore, what is your game plan? Give birth more babies → give them “god is all education†→ so kids become hardcore like you → then continue the Cycle of Poverty and extremism? |

Some ppl here said need to survey the population of that area, really a joke.. Is there any law that said about such thing? Why you ppl said its about provoke, while other minority races here already living with all the unfair treatment for so many years? Perhaps if those ppl can take action by their own, better abolish the law system in our country and let it rule by religious fanatic people instead. I can just walk in to any Malay restaurant and order tom yam and eat there without a fuss, even i'm not allow to eat beef.

It's all a matter or choice at the end of the day. I'm a non-Muslim and I choose not to drink alcohol, not to smoke, not to curse, not to gamble, etc.
I hope one day we head towards a more healthy environment whereby smoking is heavily discouraged. But that doesn't give the right of any individual to just raid cigarettes from any store because the majority of the population there does not smoke. Think about it, isn't this the seller's risk if he has no customers? |

QUOTE(tokyo2020 @ May 25 2018, 01:15 PM) The reason they are banning religion is because it will challenge their position as a dictator. Look around the world and see how dictator govern as a dictator. 1. Spreading unchallenged faith, North Korea believe Kim family is God. Nazi spreading aryan non-sense 2. Total control. No question is allowed. Oppressive law. 3. Propaganda news, brainwash. 4. Throw in jail or silence everyone and anyone who object 5. Create a fictional enemies, nk - USA, nazi - Jews and spout hatreds towards the so called common enemies. So anger can be channelled to other but not within. Now look back at some country in middle east, a dictatorial country. Did they practice the same 5 point I highlighted above? Only they practice it using the name of religion. 1.spreading their religion is the best, check 2. Introduce religion law that's controlling of nature. Check 3. Also using religion teaching with brainwash nature. Check 4. Limiting the freedom of people via religious excuses. Check 5. Making another religion their common enemy. Please respect the local sentiments, if that kampung majority are muslim, i dont see any issues to ban the alcohol.
Same as taman melati kuala lumpur very near to LRT terminal putra here, the 7e oso dont serve alcohol eventhou at first they sell em. After locals makes huha abt it, they respect the wishes of the local community to not sell alcohol in taman melati. Which is the majority are muslims reside here. |

QUOTE(vivakarna @ May 26 2018, 04:17 PM) Im not saying the way they are doing it, my point is before you do some biz please be considerate with the local sentiments. Serving the same food using the same cooking utensil is totally different than serving drink in a different pack and from different supplier. McD in Malaysia also not serving pork. They r just doing legal business..with license and permit..not those illegal business like gambling, prostitution and so on.. If every legal business need to do business as to b considerate, then this will b very troublesome and it will cos more diversity than unity cos now everyone doing business base on races.Same like mcD in india, they study first the local dietery before go operational. They dont simply serve a menu with meat in i dia. So i dont see why speedmart cant do a research before selling the alcohol. |

I don't see any chinese or indian raid any restaurant serving beef or halal food in chinese/indian majority area. I'm chinese and not allow to eat beef, and yet i always go to eat tom yam in Malay restaurant that selling beef on its menu. My SIRIM auditor which is a Malay, eat at non halal restaurant that sell alchohol drink but no pork, and that restaurant is famous with its seafood, and lots of Malays eat there. They believe theres market for it And its not wrong Its not illegal Nor is it against islamic rule Why the need to raid the store? |

I like their logic. I'd like to propose removing all nasi lemak stalls that operate by the roadside. Why? Because their customers love to obstruct traffic and park haphazardly just to get their food. I know it's not the operator's fault but some of their customers lack courtesy and common sense so it's only right that the former is punished.
No nasi lemak stall, no traffic obstruction. |

MCA: Uphold non-Muslim retailers' right to sell alcohol
PETALING JAYA: MCA has called for the rights of non-Muslim retailers to sell alcohol to be protected after an NGO forced a convenience store in Perak to get rid of their alcohol stock. Following the incident, Perak Mentri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu reminded the NGO not to act on their own and instead lodge a report to the authorities, a move MCA said was "timely". However, MCA said Ahmad Faizal's next advice for retailers operating in Malay villages to be "more sensitive to the feeling of locals" was legally incorrect. "There are no laws prohibiting sales of bottled or canned alcoholic drinks except for the restrictions under the Excise Act," said MCA publicity spokesman Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker. Perak cops probe group over anti-booze ‘raid’ on store (VIDEO) IPOH, May 28 ― Police are investigating a group of men purportedly from non-governmental organisations who “raided†a Speedmart 99 convenience store for selling alcohol last Thursday. State Criminal Investigation Chief Yahya Abd Rahman said that they received three reports from store workers on the incident. “We have open the investigation paper under the Section 448 of the Penal Code for trespassing and have called all the parties who are involved in this incident to assist in the investigation,†he said. “The investigation paper will be referred to the deputy public prosecutor soon,†said Yahya. On Thursday, the group including Manjoi residents “raided†the convenience store and directed the workers to stop selling alcohol and to transfer remaining stock in the storeroom. The group ordered store workers to stop selling alcohol here as most residents were Muslim, and warned them of reprisals if they did not comply. An 11-minute video of the raid was shared on social media. |

Muslim A atau Muslim B? Dan adakah ianya satu dosa bagi Muslim B diatas untuk meghalang / mengehadkan orang yang berlainan agama untuk makan dan minum dihadapannya? |
