1. A list of all s41 models.
2. A list of SuperPI result of all s41 models
3. A list of 3Dmarks01 SE, 05, 06 for all s41 models
4. Hints and tips like using ntune to underclock the GPU to reduce power consumption.
5. A list of (put in spoiler) problem s41 facing and user's bad experience for s41.
6. A list of s41 Overclock result
7. A list of s41 suitable & recommended products like cooling pad, express card and etc.

Aileron, thx for considering me as the V2 moderator but John will be more suitable to be the TS lolz!

Come guys, provide for information about s41 and attract more user to buy s41 so that benq will be serious to their SC. ^^

juz tested wPrime 1.58 for my T7100 1.8ghz. Result is 50 sec. Guys, who wif different cpu pls test it and for V2 information section. ^^

nvm lar we use ext speaker lagi rox HDMI cable quite exp ler.... i'm not sure u can get lower price but i saw one in lowyat cost RM75 forgotten is 1m or 2m adi

ya... rubber is to jack up the laptop and it's a good material that doesnt absorb much heat

320gb hdd very kua liao lo... the price will be pretty high as well...

nowadays storage capacity is really not enuff ler... c the games like nfs pro street used up 7gb , gear of war used 10gb of space... few more big production game can really sucked up ur hdd, somemore u still have those personal stuff like anime, movie file, photos (my 8MP camera takes 2 to 3.6mb per pic....crazy....) and ur working stuff... 120gb really not enuff lar...

which driver u using? the best driver i have used is 169.09

refer back to the first page of this thread lo, there is some benchmark score over there. I think urs shud be normal lar

edit: forgotten john didnt put the 3dmarks lol... mine is 4896 in 3dmark05 using win xp pro and default driver.

the file is too big for me to upload lol click here for the driver. Driver version 169.09, i think it can hit 3k score in 3dmark06 at 1280x800, however I have not tried it b4, but u can c the score in my signature

ya I'm acer laptop user previously and I found that acer is actually pretty good of offering useful multimedia function key and softwares. For benq or perhaps s41, it doesn't come wif function key that can switch of the lcd backlight. Perhaps some expert out there can help us out... lolz

Updates for s41 fan club member, Santa Rosa refresh platform has been released by using Intel latest CPU called Penryn which uses 45nm technology. To be fair, it has average of 5 to 10 percent (some claimed that 40% in video encoding bcoz of SSE4) performance and battery life improvement. Expecting more improvement in Intel's upcoming platform. So, do not give ur s41 so soon, it still has alot of potential.

perhaps u have some services cannot be killed. That's y it'll hang when u shut ur lappy down.

it's bcoz of the audio driver. To fix it, juz change ur sound setting in warcraft 3 to Dolby Surround. I encountered that problem b4 and now it's gone ^^
