thats rite redbull_y2k...some people like to judge others especially people that already modded their xbox360...

well for me i dont care bout it, as far im concern i`ve both originals and pirated games..if i like the games i will purchased the originals, if so so i will purchased the pirated.

not because budget, but it is good to have console which is play both originals and pirated games...

and some people dont know where la, only purchased the originals 360 game....come on heheh...every single malaysians at least have some pirated things....especially on DVD movies rite?

and also i know they wont admit that they already modded their console..so just say i play original one larr...hehe..

This is the kind of post that will trigger more fights between ori vs pirated.
It's a fact ORI is the only way to go, PIRATED is a no-go. So you will just have to live with it. We need to change Malaysia market. Original product have to be on the surface, pirated product goto go underground or black market. That's the way it always should be.

Problem with Malaysian mindset now is we are too keen on resorting to excuse of "original are hard to comeby". If we ever have the intention, the will...there are always way for it. Take a look at Gurdian brilliant post, you will get the picture.

Sometimes you really can't blame the original user for having the righteous talk. It's just a fact - how will you feel when you pay RM100 for something and yet you see someone beside you pay RM10 and get almost the same thing as you? You feel rip off & angry right? If you are always proud and showing off your modded/pirated stuff, hell ya the legitimate user will always fireback - it's your fault!

Just like police are not always right but they are the rules enforcer. We can't make do without police although there are some corrupted one. If the police in Malaysia all resign, Malaysia just need 1 day to become Afghanistan.
Same as original copies of game/user. They are the one backbone of the market. Without them, there won't be any games.

So if you want people to stop judging you - stop promoting, advertising or discuss anything to do with pirated game.

If you really have intention of buying oris eventhough you own pirated version, you will certainly NOT be PISSED at the banning.
If you are PISSED, it clearly shows that you have no intention of supporting the gaming scene at the first place!
Stop trying to take things out of context, it's politically correct that Microsoft ban modded console.

That is the modding-scene problem already right? It's not Microsoft problem. If Microsoft don't ban alot of issues will arise :
-More legitimate user will give up buying original since it doesn't matter
-Cheaters will be roaming free like PC games. It happen in Halo 2 before.
-Original retail shop will be struggling as if there are not struggling now.

So my take is try to support those shop that prioritize on original games like Gamers Hideout, Gamers.com.my, New Era, PCGAME.com.my etc etc because we need them.

Your life is free...

But everything you need to have a life is expensive tongue.gif

I heard from my friend he paid 1 pound for 30 mins in an internet cafe.

Here in Malaysia with nice aircon and lots of nice games it's 25p per hour if converted to pounds laugh.gif

Of course you can. Any student with a UK visa are permit to work 20-hours a week, unlimited hours during summer.
Thing is alot of employee don't care about visa no visa, so it really depends on where you work. Just make sure you get your National Insurance number for your guarantee on standard minimum pay.

If you are hardworking type you can even work 3 jobs during your holiday, given that your job are flexible one like my friend. People use job to fill up their time here because it's really boring as the nightlife aren't as exciting as Malaysia.
Problem is i am not the hardworking type, result so-so, work also lazy...just game game game & a girl friend. So...that's how i fill my time laugh.gif

Also, if you graduate here & i remember correctly, there is a new scheme now that every Malaysian who graduate here are qualify for a 1 year extension of working permit. Not just part time, a proper job. So while you are here, try to earn as much pound as you can.

Shiat, i damn off-topic now myself. A mod...sorry notworthy.gif

Hmm... last time I checked, those who flashed their firmware but made a backup of the original firmware should be safe if microsoft starts banning... as long as they don't get banned first.

now this really intrigues me... does it really work? I mean flashing back to the original firmware and going on live without getting the banhammer?

anyone tried?
