What's a flagship store and why confirm no problem ??

recently i bring all my engine oil, filter, fan belt, alternator belt, gearbox oil, spark plugs to change.
workshop charge me RM 80 for workmanship only.

workshop will top up a bit on the parts together with workmanship if you get everything from them (imagine every part more expensive 20% than shop price)
thing is you wont know it's genuine or not unless go back to SC, and SC will chop u into many pieces.
example
my friend change gearbox oil at SC, they charge RM 220.
same gearbox oil for only RM 100 (bought at jalan segambut Mazda parts shop), plus labor should be RM 120 only.
so save RM 100 on engine oil alone.

for small oil service can save minimum 150, so i use the savings to do engine treatment everytime service, car feels new everytime after service
major service can save above 400

like gf car pay 130 for semi-syn engine oil, i buy Shell full synthetic engine oil from Tesco, RM130 also.
7k vs 10k mileage for same amount paid.

ya all my 3 cars send to them.

my major service i bought about 900 worth of parts and oil, they charge me 80 bucks to change all. (change 2 belts, engine oil, gear oil, replace spark plug)
all parts are original mazda. seriously if they charge me 150 for workmanship i also pay, because i know they earn quite a lot from parts also.
During major service you dont frequently change those parts (like every couple of years) and u get chopped cuz dont even have an idea how much it will cost.
shops they bulk own brand of engine oil, so they tend to push those oil (some never heard before the brand)
the other thing is you dont know they put in original parts or OEM, while i know everything i put in is all original.

Cheap car use i take their oil filter and intake filter lo, since i buy own Shell full syn oil already extend 3,000km mileage compared to same price get semi syn 7,000km mileage. But for expensive car i buy everything myself.

start finding your own car parts shop and ask them what part need to change at what mileage lo.
once u buy one time, you'll be surprised how much SC earned from you.

i've ordered some special liquid to preserve rubber parts on my car too. can spray all the parts on next service (ball joints, steering rack rubbers, etc etc)
can also save thousands as our weather and sunlight will wear rubber parts so much faster.

rubber parts dry and harden gonna spend thousands man. can be litigated by preventive maintenance

gf old saga BLM steering fluid just leaked out, luckily spotted it before damaging whole rack.
10year old car, all the rubber parts already harden and start cracking d.



this is not my car, but just to show the rubbery parts, or bush they call it. all the funny noise and shaky things are due to these rubber parts getting dry, harden and crack. from steering rack, arm joints, engine mounting, crossmember frame bush, suspension struts, belts are all made of rubber.
all cars after 10years behave like crap because all the rubber is failing.

ya already applied on the old car.
just spray it on can d, but need to identify where got those joints

my newer car got squeak noise when passing bump after some minor accident, after apply one night tomorrow no noise liao.
if wanna change struts at least another 500 bucks.


places need to spray is where there's rubber (rubber start failing above 7years)
1. engine mounting (spray some let it absorb then spray again cuz the rubber is very big piece, need to let it soak)
2. arm
3. front suspension struts
4. steering rack cover, 2covers on one side
5. rear wheel suspension sleeve
6. crossmember bush

Main function is rejuvenate rubber. Actually I found another liquid also rejuvenate rubber just don't know can last for how long.

did it at workshop, need to jack up and work from bottom.

i am looking into this also.

i've found another product also made for rubber but it's with UV protection, more suitable to be used outside where exposed to sunlight cuz UV can spoil all plastic and rubber material (thats why wipers spoil first)

this same product i also wanna apply to maintain my tyre cuz my tyres are 800 per donut so i need quite a lot to maintain my car.
found it but shipping is very expensive.

RM200 product shipping is about RM 400. 600 bucks for one big tong LOL
finding alternatives for shipping at the moment

AT205 for rubber parts
303 rubber protectant for exterior rubber (more UV protection)

i dont mix water but spray direct, thats why one bottle not enough for 2 cars


ya price wise is like that, send back airfreight would cost double also.
only option is sea, but minimum freight is about RM 1,200. (cant do small quantity also)


btw, i'm gonna order 1gallon of 303 UV protectant for my door rubber, tyres and so.
need to find ppl to share with.
price wise would be half of what shoppee is selling per litre.
