by adding a hdmi will increase the connectivity...thats nice(PC - DVI-D, XBOX360 - Component/vga, PS3 - HDMI)...
but it'll also increase the cost

Ahh, oh so perfect. Except for the cosmetics.

Does the silver bezel affect your while using the monitor in the dark? Wouldnt it be kinda distracting.

ACD dun have 27" and this dell is better than all ACD except the resolution on the ACD 30".

2707wfp better contrast ratio, wide color gamut, DVI with HDCP, other video inputs, usb hub, card reader, cheaper.

conclusion:- current ACD line dont even have to be considered unless you really like the design.

27" is definitely better for movie watching because it is HD panel. if 1:1 mapping, it'll almost fill up the screen. But for higher resolution 30", there'll big black bar at top and bottom if 1:1 mapping is done.
So, 27" is the sweet spot for HD movie watching.

And reading text will be greaat too coz its larger. Text in 30" I assume is smaller due to higher resolution. Correct me if I'm wrong tongue.gif

Not high resolution. It's the pixel pitch. the pixel pitch for a 27incher is 0.287 IIRC and the pitch for a 30incher is 0.270.

I don't get what you want to point out in my post that is wrong tongue.gif 30" resolution is indeed higher than 27" which in turn higher than HD resolution. 27" is HD resolution plus a bit more.
