Do you develop your own Color Profile (*.icc)? Any chance you're going to share with us?

I use a software called Monitor Calibration Wizard, which I think is one of the better software solutions around.

Shocking... DELL 2707WFP is now selling @ RM2999!!

http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/c...dhs1&l=en&s=dhs

I just bought the 2407WFP HC Edition today @ RM2366 (5 years warranty + Dilivery)...

...should i cancel it and revert to the 27" or the 2407WFP HC Edition is better for using Photoshop/InDesign?

Are you sure bro?

I mean apart from the (obvious) size diff (24" vs 27"), does the 27WFP produces better color?

My main concern in the 27WFP dont have the Pivot (90degrees turn) option and the pixel dimension
is the same as 24WFP (1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz). rclxub.gif

Since im not usinng it for gaming... more to design apps, my main concern is color reproduction.

If you (or anybody for that matter) have both experiences with this 2 Flat Panels, your
views in this matter are highly appreciated. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks!

If you bought the 2407 now it would a be a waste because Dell's prices fluctuate up and down depending on their promotions and the current price RM 2300 is on the high side. For reference, I bought mine at RM 2000. The 2707 though is currently at the lowest price I've ever seen it. If you want to base your decision on which model is more "worth it" then it would definitely be the 2707.

Despite what the review says the 2707 does not necessarily produce better color over the current model of 2407. The latest model of 2407 (with the HC suffix) uses a different backlight that can supposedly achieve a 92% colour gamut, same as the 2707.

thanks bro... your view/comment help me decide to stick to d' 2407WFP-HC.

now i will use the RM600++ to invest in Wacom Intuos tablet.

fyi, im pairing the 2407 with DELL Latitude D630... to create a clean & spacious ambient in my office. i guess 2707 is a bit overkill.

nway, again thanks!

yeah.. cancel it.. you should've bought it last 2 months because the price of 2407wfphc was RM1800+ at that time while RM3999 for 2707

RM2999 is a bargain! Gosh.. anybody wants my 2 months old 2407wfphc?

Picture quality wise? of course 2707 is better because it uses S-IPS compared to S-PVA for 2407
