Hi guys,
Recently we have two ONYX users reported BSOD (driver IRQL not less or equal, page fault in nonpage area etc) to us, one of them got his fix by updating windows/drivers, another one was fixed by reformatting windows.
It doesn't seem to be caused by the latest BIOS because we have used this bios for all new ONYX orders.
You can try to update the drivers/windows first, or reformat, steps as below:
1. Backup your important data first from your laptop
2. Locate one 8GB pendrive for usage
3. Using another computer, download the Windows 10 Installation Media from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows104. The tool will mount the Windows 10 ISO into the USB drive to make it bootable
5. Boot your laptop from the USB to enter into the recovery environment
If you are unsure how to do the reformat, you can backup your data and send your system to illegear, we can help to identify the root cause of BSOD and reformat if necessary.
What drivers need to be updated? And is there any link to the (updated?) drivers? I am already on Windows 1803.
