Hi bro, mind to share did this problem happens again after your incident? It's really caused by a weak battery? Im 2016 persona cvt owner, same problem happens to my car recently quite often. Send to different SC twice can't detected problem, happens in the morning after droves 1km, after restart no problem for the whole day. I using a amaron hi life 1yr + plus battery which enough power for easy crank start. I find the car scary and not safe to drive, im planning to sell the car soon.

nope, never happen since, till i totally forget abt it now but I did changed my battery after 3 months since it happened, not due to the problem though.

can 2022 iriz radio fit into old 2014 iriz?

It's been a while since I last had any problems, just yesterday I had an issue with the boot unlock.

For context, Mine is a 1.3CVT Exec 2015, extd. warranty just expired

Went to shopping and then returned to the car, want to put things in the boot. As usual, just unlock using remote then can open the boot also (not using the hold function). But this time when pressing the boot release underneath the boot then it can't open, no click sound, nothing.

Thinking nothing of it and wanting to go to SC to fix, but after driving for a few minutes then came down from the car and wanted to test my luck, so I tried again and this time it can be opened.

So I thought it was a one time anomaly.

Then this morning before leaving for office, I wanted to put work stuff in the boot. And it happened again! Same exact turn of events, can't release the boot no matter what, but after driving for a bit, suddenly can open again.

Any Iriz manual owner here?
I'm Persona MT owner.

Currently my R gear feel like does not engage properly.

It has happen a few times after engage the gear, the car does not move after clutch is released.
Can hear some sound of the part moving.

And worse, there is 1 times where the car reverse and the gear seem like shift to "neutral". The car stop moving and come the sound.

Is there any potential problem or just I'm not properly engage the gear?

Car 1.5 years.
Mileage - 22k km.

Wondering if you've changed/repaired it before? is it a simple fix?

Can save on the wipers, just try to touch the wiper blade, if belum retak then can still use for a few months, but eventually need to change also lah, by then can change outside of proton for cheaper options.

Just recently changed my tyres, depending on your tyre size though but mine was Goodyear PD1 175/65/14, RM195++ per tyre include new valve.

Timing belt about RM280 ~ 300 ++

For Fuel pump not so sure

7/2022 new battery RM227 (Proton sc)



7/2022 wiper 31 + 29, Timing Belt 334 + acc belt 66 + EO 104 + labour / procare = RM767 (Proton sc)

u can save on those wiper and coolant.. buy outside much more cheaper.. fyi.. i bought wiper blade from eco shop only rm4.20.. until now already 2 years still ngamsui.. no problem.. haha

and wondering your fuel pump really kong ha? my old waja never start around 2 years oso.. no problem at all.. no need to tukar

then bang bang the fuel pump .. then only the car started .

well ...

as for wiper ... shoppee showing alsmot same price kot ...

now we wait tyre and belts ...

total 3K ... .ouch
