I just received my PB visa electron debit card and still waiting for the PIN to mail to me. There is no any single word in the letter to ask me to deposit RM25 to my visa electron account and also no mention how to start/activate to use the card...Can i start using the visa electron card before the PIN arrive? The PIN just use for withdraw money from the ATM, right? And i just found the silver bird logo is printed at the back of the card, not front of the card

hi, i want to ask about the Public bank visa electron debit card. If i use it for online shopping and need to pay in USD, but my card is in RM...where can i check the exchange rate include the bank fee(if any)? or i just check the VISA international exchange rate? And how many % for the bank fee?

which mean that i just key in 1.25% at below website and that is all for the exchange rate? no need refer to FOREX at public bank website anymore?

Hi, i had got my public bank visa electron debit card and i using it for the first time at one japan online shop. I am sure that i have enough money inside my debit card. But the online shop unable to charge my card and sent me error message through email. Below is the error message i get from them. Do i need to activate my card first or do something else first before using it online?

Unfortunately, we have tried to charge your purchase to your credit card, but were unable to get authorization for the transaction. Your card issuer may be withholding approval because of some reason related to your account, or the number you sent us may not be a valid credit card number. Sometimes the reasons for the decline are not clear, and the card is eventually approved. We will keep trying to charge this card in the days ahead, but if you feel using another account will be easier, please follow the instructions below for submitting new card information.

i not yet register the verified by visa...and btw the japan online shop do not require verified by visa and there is no option to key in the verified by visa password inside the online shop system. I wondering if i try register vbv, it will make me more difficult using debit card to make the payment online since some online shop do not implement the verified by visa..

strange...i just call the bank CS and they reply me that the online shop do not accept debit card but credit card only. But debit card is working just as credit card, diff is one is prepaid, another is postpaid..
