I think the 6-digit approval code is call to the credit card customer service to get it.

My friend just converted his conventional PB ATM card to PB Day2Day VISA Debit card. I think he's going to use it to book a room at www.genting.com.my. I only wondered why PB is charging its customers RM12/pa for this new ATM card while Maybank is charging only RM8/pa  shakehead.gif

hmm..not only public bank charges rm12 p.a, alliance banks does.
the similarities of these 2 banks are they offer rebate on our spending.
in terms of rebates between public bank & alliance bank debit card, i think alliance bank's is more worth using, at least alliance bank never mention the ending period of rebate. public bank's rebate of 1% is till december, after that it would become 0.8%
on the other hand, it seems that standchart more generous, by charging rm8 p.a on the debit card while offering 7% rebate on petrol for 6 months last year. At least, the rebate is quite obvious after deducting the debit card's annual fees. thumbup.gif

rhb no longer issue ATM card. they issue debit card which act as your ATM card. rm 15 is on the high side.

No. But for Public Bank VISA Electron yes. The annual fee can be waived after you have charged xxx amount into the card in a year.
