the ambank nexg part or the visa electron part ?

cause the PB isn't really a full visa card unlike the ambank nexg.
Not all merchants take visa electron.
something like maybankard. mine got visa interlink, but not alot of merchants accept
the ambank nexg IS a mastercard just that its prepaid. (or is suppose to be... i have to find out)
thats one of the reasons i got my NexG.

just my 2 cents which sounds logical enough...
and i think thats why ambank charges more for their nexg card.

just found out something else..
visa electron isn't recognized throughout the world, but, as a policy, merchants that take normal visa will have to accept visa electron as part of the "VISA's Accept All Cards Policy"

lol.. tested my ambank nexg card yesterday...
bought a new pair of shoes...
when i pass the card to the cashier, she looked at it like it was some plastic thing i made myself...

when she cucuk the thing inside the machine also i praying that it will clear... if not, damn embarassing weh.. of course, it did and everything was ok... haha

i'm using maybank visa debit.. best thing, its tied to my bank account so no need to worry about reloading it or something.
but, once stolen must faster call the call-center la.. if not someone swipe swipe habis your bank account balance..
haven't really tried it for online transactions.. not so active anymore.. haha
