Hi,
The Bank has adopted the 3D Secure as an added layer of security for online debit card transactions effective on 20 June 2009. It was developed to improve the security of internet payments and offered to customers as the verified service.
Merchants are encouraged to use 3D Secure by higher coverage against fraud losses. When a merchant does not use 3D Secure platform, customer are liable for fraudulent transactions even if the transaction was properly authorized.
As such we have disabled the usage of debit card at a Non 3D Secure website. Nevertheless, you still can use your Debit Card at a 3D Secure website (Look for MasterCard "SecureCode" or "Verified by Visa" logo).
Sorry for the inconveniences caused.
Regards,
