Disregarding Maybank Debit Visa Card, I checked with the people in Maybank, they said if want to use it for overseas transaction, we must activate the function from the ATM.

So in my point of view, if we want to use it for Pay Pal or whatever transaction online, we might need to activate that function through the ATM for overseas transaction.

Correct if i am wrong.

That's just my point of view, tomorrow i will be applying my Maybankard Visa Debit, since I am going to cancel my MOL Freedom.

tried using Amazon with Maybank Visa Debit Card, don't see any problems yet, just placed my order waiting to be shipped. Unless they only charge my MVDC after shipping that i don't know. haha. Anyone mind sharing his/her experience with Amazon?

dang, well no harm trying with my Maybank Visa Debit Card anyway since i planned to buy the item from Amazon as a gift. haha, hope it can go through and arrive Malaysia before May

No wonder i checked Maybank2U internet transaction history there are no charges yet . . . oh well, will check my orders again tomorrow or the day after, since it will at most take 1 working day to ship anyway (I hope) first time using Amazon to buy stuff

Guess one of the reason for most people failing to do online transaction is due to the implementation of the card. It just came out, it is still new, not all the online business knows about the card.

Guess have to give them (Maybank) sometime to change the Maybank Visa Debit Card into a useful Card that can be used for online transaction and other usage. instead of all advertisement and useless usage. Since Maybank advertise the card how well it is, how good the card is etc.

But time is limited for them as other banks are introducing better Debit Card. So pray and hope Maybank improves its' services and the usage of the Maybank Visa Debit Card else paying RM12 just to change from ATM card to the card is pointless if the usage are limited.

I tried using the Maybank Visa Debit Card to purchase items from Amazon, but for unknown reason my transaction cannot be go through. stating i got some problem with my card. Unless someone can enlighten me whether i key in my wrong card number 3 times or the Visa Debit Card can't be used in Amazon online for transaction?

have no interest with so many debit cards or credit cards i got myself MOL Freedom Debit Card but with the annual fees of RM12 it is not totally worth it, the worst part is every time when i need to reload my prepaid debit card, be it reloading through Maybank2u or 7-11 other than EON Bank it will charge a RM2 transaction fund

The other day I went to a Maybank Branch located in Sunway Pyramid New Wing to ask regarding the online transaction features. Which most of us are facing as we can't use the Maybank Visa Debit Card for online transaction.

The staff told me that the online transaction features won't be usable quite yet as they are sending our card numbers to oversea bank to confirm the card is a real Visa Card. The Staff told me that we can use the card for online transaction as early as June? (regarding the exact month or Date to be able to use it for online transaction no idea)

Hope we can use our Maybank Visa Debit Card as soon as possible. Can't blame Maybank for the bad debit card services. They are still new to the field of Debit Card. Give them sometime and things will work out exactly like a real Visa Card. In the mean time, Hang on to your Maybank Visa Debit Card. The features are a bomb just need sometime for the local and overseas bank to implement the card into their system.

can the maybank debit visa card usable for online transaction yet? i.e.: amazon.com etc its been sometimes already since the release and availability of the card want to check whether we can use it or still in beta version . ..
