It take up to 3 days to view it at m2u. For my case < 2 days. Look for debit card transaction page.

I still prefer using the normal atm card, losing your debit card is somehow

dangerous because it doesnt require any signature. It can be prevent but

only if you're fast enough to terminate it.
*
That's not true. debit card also require signature.

QUOTE(melthq @ Jul 26 2009, 01:16 AM)
you're right, but at least debit card is much better than credit card.

Immediate deduction lol
*
Immediate deduction also means that if the card is stolen, it will use your money first. but if CC it you bank's money first.

which mean that i just key in 1.25% at below website and that is all for the exchange rate? no need refer to FOREX at public bank website anymore?

http://www.corporate.visa.com/pd/consumer_...er_ex_rates.jsp
*
yes, you need to follow VISA exchange rate plus the administrative fees.

Well there's quite a lot I would love to withdraw them could you tell me how to do so?

Thanks in advance.
*
If you really have a lot, the best way is US bank account. If you withdraw to debit card, maximum per day is only USD500 & there is USD5 charge per withdrawal.

Has anyone ever used the  'paypass' feature on their debit master card ? There seems to be more places where that can be used lately from what I've seen.

As far as I know only EON Bank cards have paypass.
*
But many of the cashier do not know how to use the feature.

by the way CIMB e.MasterCard also have this feature.

I received my PBVE Debit card on last friday.. However, have to wait for the PIN this week, latest is next week la..
Without changing (getting my PIN), can I register for Verified by Visa online?(the bank officer said I have to do it myself though she said the bank will do it for me last time sweat.gif )
Do I have to wait for the PIN and change it first?
*
You do not need PIN number for that. PIN number only to use at ATM

Just erase off the 3 digit CV code on your card.
And for VISA, there is another page asking for your password, so it's not that easy to take other people's card and try to purchase stuff online.
*
Why you need to erase that number? Card issuers put in the number there for a reason. Don't be so paranoid.

Anyway, not all online purchase asking you that password. Some just asking your CVV & expiry date only.

Hi guys, I've got sth to ask.
Is debit card safe? I mean.. if I use it outside to pay for stuffs, the people can see your card num, name, expiry date and security code right? IF they happen to remember them then they can use it to purchase stuffs online right? I know some sites don't require your Verified By Visa pin. Is there any way to make it so that when the card is used to purchase sth online, a pin is required? I don't mean the VBV pin...
*
Haha, another one.

Don't worry too much lar, Just do whatever normally people do only. You worry too much later on at night also cannot sleep. I been using CC & DC for the past 10 years, thanks GOD never been fraud before. I think the % of fraud cases is not that big.

This is a GREAT news. Just a few days ago tiger63 said Maybank is about to introduce a new debit card and he was right  rclxms.gif

One question though ? Who will be qualified for this Platinum Debit Mastercard ? And how does the card look like ? Any picture yet ? I can't seem to be able to find any on M2U. And what does it mean by "offered only to the Bank's premier conventional and Islamic savings or current account holders" ? What kind of conventional/Islamic savings account is considered as premier account ?
They have a few current account that have premier word in front such as, Premier Mudharabah Account-i & Premier 1 Account. Maybe this account that they talking about.
