Astro remote can no longer be redeemed via astro circle? Mine spoilt already, few buttons not responding.

dunno if the beta epg is so buggy or the decoder is not capable, hardware wise

each button pressed feel so irresponsive.

can't revert back to old epg, how unlucky, i hope the final release will be ok

Not sure if this has been discussed before, is there any solution on no audio issue on HDMI-ARC/Ultra Box, other than just restarting the TV & Ultra Box?

Oh, a soundbar.
Any channel.

Current connection:
Ultrabox HDMI Port > HDMI Cable > Sony TV HDMI port
Sony Soundbar > HDMI Cable > Sony TV HDMI (ARC) port

No sound only happened when I wake up the TV and Ultrabox from standby mode. Had to turn off the power on wall socket altogether and turn on again, then only the sound will come.


Problem 2:
I also couldn't integrate the ultrabox remote with the Sony TV, even I follow the steps. When I selected code "12" for Sony TV, remote LED turns red instead of double green blink as per instruction.

On your Ultra Box, what setting did you set for the "HDMI Audio"?

Try set it as 'Auto' and see if issue persists.

Alternatively, try use digital optical cable (S/PDIF) if you have one.
If your Sony TV has digital optical audio output port, try connect it from your TV to your soundbar's digital optical audio input port.
Check if the no audio issue still persists.

I played around with settings, auto & all. Yeah, same results.

I do have a spare toslink cable as last resort, I plan to troubleshoot this HDMI issue first, not sure if anyone else had encountered the same.

I would say the last device you turn on has detection problem if no sound.

Guys, I have two Superpack 1 accounts. One for my house and another one at my parents' house. I called CS last Thursday to downgrade Superpack 1 to Value Pack 1 for my parents house as they don't watch that much nowadays. CS confirmed and asked me to wait 24 hours until the change is made.

I checked the account on Astro website this morning, still SP1. It's already Tuesday. I haven't call them again, yet. Is such oversight is normal for them?

Ah, that explains it. Btw, request made 21st, billing cycle is 24th and today 26th.

Think I better call them again. Who knows if they delay it to another billing cycle lol. Typical Astro.
