As a legacy pack with astro premier league package... Today Newcastle vs Arsenal only air at grandstand and I can't watch it due to no subscription... That is absurd... =(

There are 5 channels allocated for premier league, I suppose they will air it in one of the premier league channel at least concurrently with grandstand, but this time it doesn't. Somemore there is only one game play at that hour, not like there is more than 5 games play at the same time. Indirectly forcing is a bit overdone if that is the case...

Regarding of the downgraded ch.148 & 149...

NTV7 which has less viewers are not affected but 8TV & TV9 which has lots of viewers are affected 🗿

Maybe they just want to "test water" and observe first, by making picture quality poor on 8TV and TV9 for now.
TV3 is known to be one of the top channels with highest viewership ratings in Astro, you see... 

It’s high definition on uneepai tv no reason why azzteroo short change customers.

At uneepai tv, all hbo customers will get 3 mths ultimate level fir free. Then just add rm10 if want to continue. If not will be back to standard. At least got free 3 mths to try first.

8TV on Unifi TV (and MYTV) is in 1080i FHD format. 8TV on Astro is in 480i-ish SD format.

Cannot solely blame on Asstrow..

Because it's Media Prima who pays to broadcast. if they pays for 1080i, then you get it.

I switched to the new Primary Pack from a legacy pack a few months ago since I am only interested in Chinese channels which is now available in Primary Pack. I still have some old recordings from before. Before the switch, I was able to view all of them including recordings from those channels that had been discontinued. After the switch, I could no longer view my older recordings, even from the channels that are still in the current package.

I contacted Astro multiple times and was asked to provide this and that and was told the issue was resolved on their end and asked to reboot my device and see if I could watch them. I still could not watch my recordings. This went on for months and finally I was informed that I could no longer watch any of my recordings that were recorded before 1/4/2024. It took them so long to figure that out.

It is not mentioned anywhere that the new pack has this limitation. It is already unfair that they blocked my access to recordings for older Chinese channels but what is worse is that the recordings before 1/4/2024 for the channel that is still in my pack is blocked as well.

Because TV3 is flagship channel...

More ads revenue & exposures... More market shares...

Which one have more viewership numbers?? Brings the $$$... For both Astro & MP...

It's one of the many platform they broadcast / stream... 

That's why it's only in SD... Not in HD like in another platform

Heck even other platform also less viewership for both channels... Because the focus & target is different from flagship TV3...

In Malaysia...
The top channels is TV3, with astro Ria comes second place... Then rest is jumbled up between sports, news, RTM etc.

You even watch That channels or not...

It's also blur... That's why I don't even bother to see...

Why you still watching & subscribe to it then???

FYI, Ch 110 will cease on Nov 20. Ch 108 will continue to air Astro Originals.

Also, insider info, Ch 107 will follow suit on Dec 3. Ch 105 to continue airing previous & future Warna shows.
