Which 3 mini packs did u choose? Skip news?

I am using centralized satellite for my Astro on my condo. Suddenly the message show no satellite signal.

So I switch off the Astro Beyond recorder. Now the decorder keep on showing blinking red light and cannot go to standby. No matter how I press the decorder will not show green light, because the decorder led keep blinking red light, stop for a while, then blinking again.

What is the issue?

Seems like your centralized satellite dish have issues..
To confirmed... Bring your astro decorder to any neighbour units & test... Same issues then its the centralized satellite dish.. Not, then your decorder..

Confirmed not centralized satellite bcoz only me having issue.

Would it be possible the power adapter problem? Or the decorder problem?

Rather than watching the black screen with the word "This channel is not in your subscriptions list.."


I think your decoder hang already.. Just try to hard reset by press more than 3 second for power button decoder there to reset..

if power adapter problems.. the decoder won't on at all.. No red blinking light.. straight blank (no light)..

so it's more on decoder problems... maybe u can do like the above method..

This is the sequence... red light appear for 5 seconds, then blank/blackout for 5 seconds, then red light blinking, blackout 5 seconds, then red light blinking... the sequence then repeated itself

It just failed to go to standby mode... that is what made me think maybe it's the power adapter

I've encountered once for TM modem, one of the light cannot be on, TM guy just came in and replace the power adapter, everything going good again

By the way, I've tested decoder with only the power adapter(no hdmi, no satellite cable, etc)... the same sequence appear

Anyone try this before, only power adapter with decoder? Is the red light blinking like the above? Or stable red light appear? Anyone willing to help experiment(power cable with decoder only) and let me know what is happening for normal unit

yep, skipped the news.

still better than UnifiTV tho. astro already done promise to bring 4K, while unifiTV one still struggle.
