Some channels have specific license which does not allow it to be on IPTV (like NHK Premium, which is why it was removed from UnifiTV in 2020).

As of today, it's only NHK World (398) channel that you won't be getting on "IPTV Plug & Play (self-install)".

fruitie If possible, avoid using the term "IPTV" unless you are actually referring to Astro IPTV Multicast (the one that uses VLAN 823).

Astro IPTV and Astro Plug & Play are technically 2 different things.

Water ingress at coax cable connection can degrade signal. Last time mine the technician came and re-taping the connector the signal reception level improved.

At connector exposed to rain, they just wrap tape to prevent water ingress into connector. Good tape can really last . Normal contractor may use cheap tape that can perform well in short period only. Those telco use good butane tape that can last for years.

Yes, normal Astro account with PVR box now.
My no signal become ok by itself now. Really pening with this issue. Come on and off.

It will happens occasionally. And when it does, the buffering icon and/or buffering usually would appear on-screen for 1-2 seconds.
Whether would you see this as a major annoyance or not, I'll leave it to you to decide.
Since this happens "once in a blue moon", therefore I don't see Astro is taking this matter very seriously, and rather put the blame on your WiFi or Internet connection instead.

their CS ask me to change the package to the newer one. The thing is, when alter the pkg, the AOTG will be revised to two screens instead of 4.

Different agent, different set of knowledge.
Try end conversation with that agent quickly (Ok, thanks, bye), and then connect to another live agent. Repeat this until you get a more competent agent that can assist on your enquiry. You can also try connect to different agent at different times of the day too.

im afraid they will request u to switch plans. because in Account page, there is upgrade box button. upon pressing the button, switching plans requirement popped up.

btw, my account already have 1 ultibox.

the box that i want to upgrade is the PVR box. im using to the multiroom pkg.

in that page, yes there is no popup button to switch packs. just need to wait whether they will actually contact us with confirmation.

the page im referring to just now is in the account page. in that page there is page to upgrade box tie to the smart card that we use.
