Get Adidas Kampung la...from any hardware shop or Mr. DIY for only <rm5 . U can torture it to the max and if worn out, just dispose it. Won't feel heart sick. lol

On a serious note, Adidas trainers have been very sturdy, the build quality, stitching + glue. Daily wear lasted me more than 4 years till the upper front toe box worn out.

Yeah normally ppl use that for trekking or hikes. I used once for hiking, but only for very muddy/water tracks. Other than that, have to use thick socks to compensate for the lack of padding. It's a 'rubber-tappers' shoe anyway.
But for serious hiking, i've tried Columbia and Hi-Tec boots before but not satisfied. I've now switched to Salomon's Speedcross range and never looked back.
