So in 2025, sport direct no more promo for ultraboost?

After years of buying Adidas from store or Adidas apps, UB and other models.

I tried Shopee Sports Direct, looking for a UB just to wear.
Mostly no sizes and and old models. But I bought 1 Adidas Nasa collaboration (i also had one with different color)

Well, buying old model, sorry to say, the sponginess is like stiff already. You won't feel why UB is one of the best comfort shoes around. Well, maybe only left 10% of the comfort.

Probably first and the last time I will buy from here, maybe if there are last year's model I will buy if the price is good. But 2 years above models I will stay away from.

usually discounted shoes are expired shoes. mind you, outsole can expire and harden.

its 2025 already ultraboost is not the premier cushioning tech.

adidas official store on lazada/shopee can get very cheap UB 1.0 during sales. last year 12.12 sale got UB1.0 for RM150.

at outlet store also got tons of UB sitting can get below 300 depending on offer timing.

Depends on what shoes, due to me having mostly UB, I can say after a year wearing, you don't feel it spongy anymore.
So let's avoid 2 years old shoes

usually for shoes over two years, it will start to degrade and that is when i would consider it expired. your sole will start to crack, disintegrate or hardened depending on how you store it.

that is why nike only provides 2 years warranty on their products.

"Nike does have a 2 year return policy for non wear-and-tear damage to their shoes. Look for the date on the right side of the size tab inside your shoe. The policy covers 2 years from that date.3 Apr 2023"

i remember someone from Malaysia did that claim with Nike store before.

if you notice, shoes on shelves ie JD sports, Footlocker, Nike or Adidas boutique, they don't display or sell their shoes more than 6 months and if they do, it will be discounted but most of the time especially boutique stores, they would rather dispose to smaller retails like sportsplanet/walmart/payless shops.

my airmax will never get to be worn over 4 years, soles will come apart, crack or disintegrate and this is the same for my over 20 pairs of airmaxes.
