how much is needed in raising a baby on monthly basis...wondering how much to prepare for next stage of life

Ehh.. i never really calculated the cost in a monthly basis. It depends on how much u willing to spend on the child. Some people always wanna give the best for their child. To me, i willing to spend money on my child if i think it is important for them.
The expenses is higher when the child is younger. As they grow older, it will slightly reduce. They are ways to reduce the cost at the intial stage so u can use the money on other important matters.

First thing first, no names calling, no pulling religion into this, no insults.

Very honest question : Any of the parents here wanted to choose their babies' gender?
Anyone done it? Is it even available in Malaysia?

Everyone know how costly it is to raise a child in Malaysia right now, and me and my husband has always always wanted a son and a daughter,
it'a like the unspoken dream, and I know it could or could not be banned in Malaysia.

So I would like some advice or comments.

I didn't want to choose my children' gender. My first baby is a boy. Now I'm waiting for the daughter. I'm happy! But I should say, I would be happy if the gender was different. The most important thing for me is their health, and the gender doesn't matter.
