A lot of new game not follow last time region price which about *2.3.
Some even *3 now add more 6% really hard to get more games.

There is service tax alright but price remains the same before 1/1/2020. Looks like service tax is included in the price, no difference than before. If I am not mistaken, no price change at all, currently.

For lunar sales there are sometime got chance certain game give more discount than the winter sales.
It is because the publisher/developer found out that the best they can grab already done in winter sales so now lunar sales so near after winter sales, if the discount is not higher than winter sales time, people will spend money on it. Those that want to buy their game mostly will spend on winter time due to can use coupon and get more card with spending. So to get those that not yet buy their game, the only way is give more discount.

As they can see our wishlist, they will know how many put their game in wishlist and how many already buy their game when certain % discount giving.
So let say first wave is winter sales, Game A they give 50%, people that like the game and willing to spend for that amount will buy it already.
Now left another group of people that not yet buy, to grab them they will decide to give 67% and see how many they can get.
Then Summer sales 2020 will give 70%. Finally winter 2020 75% grab most of them.

Some play with main game and dlc.
Main game give 75% but dlc always maintain 50% for 2-3 years.

sometime when this happen, if you using web browser to buy then try using steam client and vice versa.
