QUOTE(defaultname365 @ May 5 2012, 01:08 AM) You want to watch the entire film again for that few seconds extra scene? I doubt we will get it here. Just wait for the BD or perhaps there will be a HQ upload on Youtube. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I dunno about u, but that 30 second scene is kinda worth it though. Since Mark was trying his hardest not to laugh. (by chugging in more *******)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Why he's bored? Probably because he's not used to food in 21st century. Were there Shwarma in the 40? Anyhoo, the significance of the 30 second scene was a nice way of saying that even as a team, they have no idea what the hell to talk about. But they're just following Tony since he almost died and just following his wish. Call it a bad group date.

Remember, they're not a team. So, rather than setting off the time bomb, just keep quiet.

Here's my take on the banner out of control in the lab scene » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « To begin with, this is actually homage to the first comic book of the Avengers. Yes, in that one (you can find the omnibus version should you wish to read it) Loki's true intention was to turn the Hulk into everyone else (since he believes it's a "mindless beast".)
Also, if you remember the end credits in Thor (Or even when Thor was in captive because he couldn't get the hammer), Loki is famous for being a sort of "invisible satan" figure. I take this based on
- Loki being able to communicate worlds apart without the Tessarect opening a portal (or better through the Scepter. - The upside down turning of the camera when the shot is placed on the scepter (a reference to how the world is wrong when it's upside down) - Banner holding the scepter. (If you think logically that Banner is in control, why would he want to hold the scepter? He can just turn himself into the Hulk and the whole lab would be destroyed still.) - The last look from Banner when he looked at Black Widow. That's Banner still in control but he can't take it the mind games with Loki. Besides, how can anyone justify Banner screaming "your life!" when he spoke to Black Widow? Ok, maybe I should go for a fifth time.

Actually, the intention for Mark VII, by Whedon, was that he hated the triangle, calling it ARSE. But its also meant to improve the delivery of the armor and hold more ammo. That's how I think it looks like also.

The Avengers Box Art and Release Dates.Personally prefer the DVD cover since it has everyone on it. But since the 3D BD version has the original movie poster, i'm ok with that. I sense a rehash for the normal blu ray version though. haih...

QUOTE(Zephyr_Mage @ May 23 2012, 12:41 AM) It didn't look like he had a plan at all in the 2nd half of the movie. God of mischief looked like a rebellious kid getting schooled. Remember, he's a diva. The whole point is to have "opening night".

You have a syndrome.
It's called "I've-read-too-many-internet-posts-to-let-it-get-to-me".
Because if you're a grown ass man as you say so yourself, nothing is comparable. You either know it's a fun movie or not. And the box office numbers don't matter. Because you don't even get a cent out of it.
