leaking issue is common for SX8 (same goes to other cars which almost 10 years)

if from timing belt side, just replace the seal/gasket at that area such as camshaft seal, crankshaft seal, oil sum gasket, valve cover seal.. smile.gif

steering rack can be repaired..it need 6 hours to be repaired..

u can contact Kent form xd-auto..cost around Rm500 ++

Hi friends, I am from Sri Lanka and I also owned Honda City (sx8) 2001 car with Vtec engine. Unfortunately I do not have the brochure / user manual of this car. Is anyone having it? If so please share it with me on nishan2perera@gmail.com and it will be great help. Thank you in advance! smile.gif

Hi all sifu,

Need some help here.

My sx8 type z having the Master Pump problem. The brake seems not smooth and will locked the tire immediately when I slowly pressed. Difficult to explain the situation, hope u understand.

My mech said the Master Pump(Round black box) difficult to find at chop shop. Any idea where can I buy this part?
BTW, I'm in Penang.

Thks.

Just an update and keep this topic alive.

I've found the Master Pump(double pump, better than original) at chop shop in Penang. Cost me rm250, installation done by my mech, rm50.
Problem solved.

Door panel/door trim are hard to find, been searching for almost 2 years. doh.gif
As the last resort..replicate the original with fiberglass.
Found a seat refurbish shop at bukit kemuning klang who can do it and i'm satisfied with the end product.

Thanks BuFung

Here's the maps to the exact location.
Look for refurbish seat displayed on the roadside, then u'll find the shop.
By the name of the street, we'll find more spareparts for sx8 there i guess.. brows.gif
