Errr... I usually don't consider an overclocked GC stable unless it passes the ATItool aritifacts scanning. Once it passes this test, I will then test it out with other apps e.g. 3Dmarks and the some games.....
Remember that small artifacts (e.g. pixel artifacts) won't be picked up by the naked eye.....

have you ever noticed, if you use nvidia's monitor and ATiTool, you can't actually set the bus speed's to what you want, precisely? when i set the mem clock to 985mhz and set "set clock", nothing happened. only when i raised it to 995mhz, it jumped to 999mhz.

That's not a bug. Due to some internal clock setting (can't remember the exact reason), the clocks can only be set at a set incremental values only.... I think every 17mhz.....
