Real Madrid are preparing a £200m bid for Chelsea's 27-year-old Belgium forward Eden Hazard. (Express)
Hazard and Willian still has big chance to leave before deadline 31st August. I'm more worried about Hazard to be honest. Morata has been below average and we're letting go Batshuayi? Morata has long holidays to prepare and it seems like he still proving me right about him!

Roma sporting director Monchi is reportedly being eyed by Chelsea as a candidate for the their vacant Sporting Director role.
QUOTE
Monchi arrived at Roma last summer after a highly successful spell as the sporting director of Sevilla. As the giallorossi sporting director, Monchi has made shrewd signings and has already helped the club sign over 10 players this summer, with Steven N'Zonzi being the latest addition.
The Telegraph report that Monchi is being eyed by Chelsea as their next sporting director and they could approach the Spaniard soon.
Manchester United have also been linked with Monchi as they are currently looking for someone who can take up the role of their first ever sporting director after a disappointing summer transfer window.
Ever since Michael Emenalo resigned as the Blues' sporting director last season, Chelsea are without someone who can take up the post. They feel that Monchi is their man.
Whatever it is, we seriously need a Sporting Director!
Blame conte for sending that sms Chelsea was so good in his first season due to costa, then when costa xde, you know what happened la
That's why lah! Any suggestion a striker near as good as Costa if not better? Please don't suggest Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar or Mbappe. Roman will not going to spend big money anymore!
Chelsea news: Jorginho slammed by pundit on live TV - he has got NO qualities
CHELSEA star Jorginho has not got any qualities needed to be a top defensive midfielder, claims ESPN FC pundit Stewart Robson.
QUOTE
Jorginho joined Chelsea in the summer from Napoli for a fee of around £57million.
He followed manager Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge and was the Italian’s first signing after replacing Antonio Conte.
Jorginho scored from the penalty spot on his Premier League debut last Saturday, helping the Blues beat Huddersfield 3-0.
However, Robson, who often co-commentates on Serie A matches, says he has not seen anything from Jorginho’s time at Napoli to suggest he is good enough for Chelsea.
“I’m not a fan of Jorginho,” former Arsenal midfielder Robson said.
“I’ve seen him play for Napoli. Napoli were a good side and I looked at their team and when I’m picking out players, Jorginho would have been the eighth or ninth player I’d have picked out of their team as the most important player.
“I can’t see what Sarri sees in him quite as much.
“He’s not athletic, if you saw him play in the Community Shield he had an absolute shocker in that game, he was better against Huddersfield.
“But against the very best teams, I think people can run off of him.
“He’s not going to be a creative passer, he’s a passer who just passes it square and sideways, he just keeps things moving.
“I don’t think he’s a good defensive player, I don’t think he’s a good player in that holding midfield role.
“I know Sarri relied on him at Napoli, but again, I didn’t think he was one of their best players.
“As a holding-midfield player, you need to have athleticism to cover your full-back, you need to be a good reader of the game, get in-between your centre-halves when the ball’s in wide areas, you need to be able to close the ball down and win it back.
“You need to be able to be, I would say, still a creative passer.
“Jorginho I don’t think has got any of those qualities.”
Jorginho and Chelsea are back in action this Saturday when Arsenal take the short trip across London.
Arsenal lost their first game of the season 2-0 to reigning champions Manchester City.
Yeah rite. That's coming from an Ex Gunner midfielder pundit....

Maurizio Sarri says Mateo Kovacic is set to play a part against Arsenal tomorrow evening.
QUOTE
The Blues host the Gunners in the Premier League’s late kick-off - and Real Madrid loanee Kovacic could feature at Stamford Bridge.
"I think Mateo will be very useful for us. He's a very technical player," Sarri said.
"In this moment, he has to work. I think he's not ready now for 90 minutes, but maybe, tomorrow, for the first 30 or the last 30 minutes he could be used.
"I expect a lot from him because, for me, he's a very great player. In my opinion, he can improve more.
"I think he can play in any of the three positions in midfield. He's a very good offensive player, but he has improved in the defensive phase in the last two years in Madrid."
I don't really know nor watch this dude playing at Real Madrid. Any insight?
REVEALED: Sarri blocked Chelsea's move for Lyon attacker Fekir
Maurizio Sarri blocked Chelsea's move for Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir this month, it has been claimed. says Chelsea had the opportunity to bring him to Stamford Bridge, but it was Sarri who decided against it.
QUOTE
The snub will undoubtedly come as a disappointment to Fekir, as it is the second Premier League club that opted against bringing him on board.
Fekir was on the verge of signing for Liverpool, before the Reds pulled out of the deal when their medical team discovered a niggle with his knee.
And as he looked poised to sign for Sarri's side, the Italian opted against signing the forward despite wanting to bolster his attack.
Lyon met with the Chelsea hierarchy to discuss a move for the 25-year-old French international, but when it became clear they were holding onto several of their important attacking players they ceased negotiations.
I think the club was concentrating on Hazard and Willian particularly Hazard. If Hazard stays then no Fekir.
Good first half game until that awful quick two goals conceded. Clearly, who the heck was supposed to take care of Arsenal wingers? All goals on target were from Arsenal wingers. If it's not for misfiring players from Arsenal, we could had lost the game. Peter Cech has saved Arsenal on numerous occasion.
On the other hand our team has improved "Sarriball" compared from the first game. Sarriball method needs a lot of stamina.
MOTM for me - Marcos Alonso
All three Spanish scorers.

Great ball possession half of the opponents field. We are better, quicker starting to adapt to Sarri's style of football. I think it's much on our side because Newcastle was aiming for a draw. So they just sit back and defend. This tactic may not be easy to apply when we start to face Man city, Spurs or Liverpool soon.
Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko has 'defects', says AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso
Gennaro Gattuso has criticised Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko following his AC Milan debut in Saturday's defeat to Napoli.
Gattuso said that he would rather be managing "experienced" players after watching his side throw away a two-goal lead.
Milan led 2-0 after 50 minutes at the Stadio San Paolo, only for a double from Piotr Zielinski and a late Dries Mertens strike to give the home side a sensational comeback win.
Bakayoko, who joined on loan earlier this month with an option of making the switch permanent next summer, was introduced shortly after the first Napoli goal in an attempt to shore things up, but the substitution did not have the desired effect.
Afterwards, Gattuso voiced his frustrations with the Frenchman, who also missed a good chance to restore the Milan lead at 2-2.
"Bakayoko has to learn how to get the ball," Gattuso said. "We must work correctly. It will not be easy.
"One week is not enough to remove the defects of a player. I would have preferred to be managing older, more experienced club players."
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insists there's no problems with Alvaro Morata after victory over Bournemouth. Sarri hooked Morata on the hour mark for Olivier Giroud, admitting he wanted to see greater sharpness in front of goal.
He said, "It depends on the situation on the pitch. At that moment we crossed three, four or five times in three minutes so I thought Giroud, in that moment, was better, but only for that reason. Alvaro is improving and maybe he needs more space.
"But I'm lucky because in that situation Giroud is very useful."
Our strikers were not even good for the bench unless Sarri just wanted them to be assists. Can we buy an aggressive and genuine striker (not from the bench) like Diego Costa?
Thibaut Courtois Says Standard Is Superior at Real Madrid Compared to Chelsea
QUOTE
Thibaut Courtois has taken a swipe at former club Chelsea by declaring that the standard at Real Madrid is higher than at Stamford Bridge, according to his early experiences with his new team.
The goalkeeper left west London for the Spanish capital this summer, and the Belgian says life at the Bernabeu Stadium is a level above his time in the Premier League.
"In training, you see that the level is high. I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Sergio Ramos is the best centre-back in the world. The level [at Real Madrid] is higher than at Chelsea. [The Bernabeu is] twice as big [as Stamford Bridge], of course, it's a very different feeling. If you look forward, you only see a wall of people, while at Stamford Bridge you can still see the sky or the hotel behind the grandstand."
So much for his bullshit "missing his kids" story!

Thibaut Courtois cannot stop talking and now wants to play the victim of his Chelsea exit. So the record must be set straight. Exits from clubs can come in a variety of flavors. They can be sad as in the case of Juan Mata leaving for playing time. They can be unfortunate as in the case of Romelu Lukaku leaving as Chelsea bought striker after striker ahead of him. They can be honorable as was the case with John Terry when his time ran out.
Almost always, exits are bittersweet. But sometimes, there are transfers that are messy on the part of the club, the player, or both. The Diego Costa transfer, for instance, was a failure on the part of many. The things said afterwards by Costa were mostly reinterpretations of facts that put him in a positive light. They were, of course, incorrect to what actually occurred, but there was plenty of wiggle room given the fault of man in the situation. Thibaut Courtois is attempting something similar while ignoring the fact that every bit of criticism he has gotten has been his fault.
Courtois’ has taken to the media (again) to say how sad he is at Chelsea fans’ reactions to his move. His excuse was that fans do not know the truth. But that is not true. Fans are well aware of what happened.
At first, Courtois was torn over extending his contract because of his children in Madrid. That is perfectly understandable and was defensible at the time. He says the decision was made “in March” for him to leave, but rumors and quotes circulated for months about how he would decide after the season and the after the World Cup.
If Courtois had decided that early, the honorable thing would have been to be upfront about it. The fans are not ignorant. They understand the lure of being with his children. That was an acceptable reason. What was not an acceptable was how he burnt everything down on his way out and after and now wants to play the victim of his own actions.
Chelsea was looking for a replacement throughout the summer before letting Courtois go. That was understandable on their part. But that was not good enough for Courtois. He opted to go AWOL from training, citing “it better not to disturb the team and the squad”. Except by not showing up, he did disturb the squad. He showed how unprofessional he is and forced the club to accelerate their plans and lose all negotiation power over Kepa Arrizabalaga.
He went on the say he “loves Chelsea” but all he has done since jumping ship to Real Madrid’s bench is knock Chelsea down. The stadium there is bigger. The players are better. The training is harder. Instead of simply taking his move like he wanted, he had to stick the knife and twist the knife. And then he had the gall to step back and say that the Chelsea fans are wrong to be upset.
Courtois is a manipulator. He manipulated Chelsea with the contract extension until he played his card and got his move. He is now trying to manipulate the fans who are upset at him. What he fails to realize is that his actions had consequences.
Club support is tribal. At times to a terrifying degree. But it is traditional and not going away anytime soon. Chelsea applauds many former players when they play at Stamford Bridge because they showed respect in their exit. Courtois has shown zero respect. If he is sad at the fans’ reactions, it is through no fault but his own.
