Poor poor game. We deserved to lose the game. Instead of hoping to catch a glimpse of Sarriball, we got Pepball!?

The same crappy attitude of last season's performance. This is what you get when you don't spend good money on special player wisely.

Morata is a clueless striker. Slow pace striker that mainly cannot be trusted as our main striker. No wonder he's only a sub in Real Madrid. He has to be partially accountable for Conte's demise.

We really miss Diego Costa aren't we? Damn, even Giroud or Batshuayi won't make any difference!

We are lacking of leadership or motivator in John Terry. Alonso more suited as LWB than a LB. David Luiz is crap and I'm not sure why he's still our first choice and hopefully not this season. Jorginho was a quick passer but this team ain't Napoli.

Rudiger had a decent game. Azpi has no form. Ross Barkley was so so and Danny was Danny, nothing more than that. Pedro had a poor game together with Cesc. The only Chelsea player worth our time watching was Hudson Odoi.

The one thing I don't like about Willy is he likes to be too up from the goal post. Anyway he made a few good saves tho. Could have been easily around 5 or 6 - 0.

Overall poor defending, passing and upfront. We need a striker like Zlatan or Aguero.

After getting all hot and bothered about yesterday's performance,i think it's safe to say we need to put things into perspective.

We faced last year's premier league runaway leaders and their players performed to a standard and style of play that was befitting of a squad that had the luxury of being in a system, coached by one of the best managers in world football for about two seasons.

Yes they were missing kdb and silva, but you'd be mad to think that hazard and kante aren't 10 times more important to us,in comparison. I'm still excited and kind of worried about the new season, but all these top four / top six predictions are just premature imo. 'Positive' football is finally back at the bridge and i can't wait to see it in all its glory once the players completely grasp the system!

Hazard, Kante and Courtois were our key players. No denial in that but Chelsea really need to get the players that suits Sarri style of football. Majority of these players were too slow to follow Sarri's system and the most disappointed thing was the lacking of fighting/comeback spirit and leadership/motivator attitude. Most of these players were highly paid and we expect serious quality.

Hudson Odoi really understand the system but it would be pointless if only less than three players able to follow the system. Based on my observation yesterday, the players can't do a Sarriball when our opposition played a high and fast tempo game.

The only Chelsea's Sarriball I witnessed was the first half of our pre season friendly against Perth Glory.

Overall, we need a formidable defenders and goal scoring strikers. I m not worried about our midfielders too much because I believed they will come good in the future with Jorginho and Kante partnership.

Luiz still cant play in a back 4, back 3 was perfect for him.
Alonso cant play as a FB. WB is ok with back 3 to cover for him, but he is too slow to track back to defend.

no Kante, midfield is lost. Cesc defensive liability still.
Barkley looks like he is still building his fitness back.
Kante, Giroud, Hazard not yet back and we already struggling. can't lose these key players.

only 1 looked good is COH. potential this kid, no fear but needs some work and experience. Willy kept us from being raped more than 2-0.

Sarriball is going to take alot more work and to fit the players in.
Man City looks as sharp as ever, doubt they even kicked into a next gear for the whole game.

So many deadwood in this team. Haih, appointed new manager when season start in 3 weeks, only bought one players (luckily come with the manager) and we hoping that another miracle from manager. Haihh..

Sarriball will take time but with the squad we have, no others signing, and very poor striker in morata, im afraid, sarri will become another scapegoat. Board of this club is a joke.

Although we lose badly against the strongest team in PL, I like the way the team play. Besides it will get better than this when they play more and players come back now.

I would give the team some time and add players needed to be able to challenge for trophies. Hopefully target can finish top4

my biggest concern is, if the problems persist and we can't replace players, at least Conte has the ability to switch up tactics and strategies (although his 2nd season, he didnt want to switch up). Sarri seems to only Sarriball. if the squad cant play Sarriball, then... how?

To be fair, a lot of our core players not back yet, Hazard, Kante, Courtois.

Let's see how it goes, a Pirlo type midfielder does not work well in Premier League imo.

Maybe can. Just need to adapt to EPL style...

But dissapointed with jorginho for some midfielder bought with 57mil pound...

Doing very easy task...no dangerous throughball....

and Sarri more stubborn than conte... same first 11, same substitutes, same tactic
Sarri need more time than any previous chelsea coach to turn thing around

Kristof Terreur:
Eden Hazard is back in London and will return to training today.

No dream move for him. Chelsea are still reluctant to sell him (to Real Madrid) and have never ever been open for negotiations or talks. And time has ran out.

that's mean next season same case like Courtois will repeat again doh.gif

applause to our board

apparently winning trophies alone using boring football is not enough, one has to play entertaining game + win trophies to stay for long @ CFC.
