Which is still entirely within his right to "not want to leave" as he is under a contract. If the club wants him gone then he is entitled to a compensation for termination of his contract.

Yes Conte obviously wants the money but he is also honouring his contract. Can't blame players for not honouring their contracts if clubs can't do the same, it goes both ways.
