Not sure if u guys are familiar with the name makelele,but he's one of madrid's rejects who went on to become the best defensive mid on the planet, and subsequently had a friggin position named after him(the makelele role) ,while playing with us. Oh and have you seen who kova's up against in midfield at real?modric.kroos.casmeiro.isco. just to name a few.

Besides,KDB,lukaku and even salah failed to get significant game time with us.u guys gonna label them as useless too?

I think I can say with certainty I now prefer kante to be permanently parked in a defensive role. He's not really meant to be up there,as u can see when he didn't even attempt a first time pass to morata when he was unmarked and put through
