QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 20 2018, 03:00 AM)
he wanted to play and i guess conte had no choice at the time since I rmbr many players were injured
*
Yep this is true,he was also determined to play especially after drogs told him how huge this game was to the fans.

QUOTE(briantwj @ May 20 2018, 11:28 AM)
Can we keep Conte and the players, while sack everyone on the board? lol
*
Hmm this is a tough one. Love them or hate them, the trophy cabinet suggests they know what they're doing. Strange as that sounds,I know hmm.gif

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ May 20 2018, 11:33 AM)
😂
Conte sure won't resign
Now depend on the board, to fire or negotiate
First coach that make the board headache like that
*
There has been an odd lack of rumours this past couple of weeks, almost as if the board has got their man and they'll now try to negotiate conte's compensation. Such a strange conundrum to be in.

On that same note,it could also be the board has absolutely no idea how to solve this laugh.gif

Oh btw, this is a reminder that Chelsea is the only team to win the Mens, Womens and Youth FA cup in the same year  flex.gif  flex.gif

Man we sure love them cups!it's a nice ending to the season, although it does paper over the cracks to a certain extent.

Disrespect from Willian, if Conte stay I think Luiz and Willian will leave

Utterly unprofessional,he's definitely off if conte stays, but I think maybe the management should decide to get rid of him anyway, especially with that attitude. This kind of behaviour is sure to breed toxicity in the dressing room and it's not what we need right now. Looks like a swap deal with utd involving martial might just be fast tracked before the world cup.

Read somewhere his buyout clause expires on the 22nd. It's now or never for us,but I have a strange feeling chelsea will try and convince him to put in a resignation and force napoli's hand.

It'll save us a few million quid, but de laurentis is a notoriously tough negotiator and I don't see it happening. He'll most likely 'threaten' sarri into honouring his contract for another year, and tell us to go fly a kite instead. Ahh exciting times. Let the drama begin laugh.gif

Drama in our country's politics.

Drama in Chelsea's off season.

Drama coming up in World Cup.

Work? What work?
*
I fully expect our ex-premier's rise and fall to be made into a movie actually. The daily details which are slowly being revealed are super intriguing! Kinda wish chelsea had less drama, but it's just a weird pattern these days. Our success goes hand in hand with it,so in a way we can't complain too much? Lol

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ May 21 2018, 03:20 PM)
dont see it happen because of our side
marina will take her time to deal with conte follow by new coach biggrin.gif
*
For sure man. Marina and her penny pinching. She's under roman's instructions so that's not going to change anytime soon, unfortunately sweat.gif

QUOTE(ThisWorldisWeird @ May 22 2018, 10:02 AM)
I hope to see Jody Morris in our first team system, but not as head coach. Maybe assistant, like Steve Holland last time. Then after the first team coach get sacked for poor results (as it so usually happens), Morris can takeover as caretaker, then if he does well, permanent role.
*
This should be our end game in the abramovich area imo. Fully expecting him to make the step up but like u said, not too soon. I mean it would be lovely to see him given a chance right away, but if he fails and gets kicked out,the heartbreak for the club and fans will just be too much. This can potentially undo all his hardwork with our youngsters and that would be devastating to the future of our club. He is essentially our pep in the making and definitely deserves to work his way to the first team.

Wow. We somehow skirted around paying sarri's release clause and banked on de laurentis losing patience, leading him to appointing carlo in a hurry. My guess is they've parted ways on mutual consent?

Well done marina. Talk about playing your cards right. Damn it feels good to screw napoli over, specifically de laurentis. Koulibaly for £60 mill?get outta here!

Can't believe how poor karius is. Crazy. Pool should've shelled out for a better keeper. That's on klopp imo.

In a way, those blunders by karius suddenly remind me of the courtois horror show vs barca sweat.gif

A wild laurent blanc has suddenly appeared. Huehue.

I take back all my compliments of marina now. Consider them null and void laugh.gif

I guess this means luiz is definitely staying?and sarri's release clause apparently expires on thursday?u know if it was any other club besides napoli and de laurentis I wouldn't be as worried. But if we let time pass and expect them to crack, I think we're in for a nasty surprise. After thursday I wouldn't be shocked if napoli demand more money just to screw us over and make a statement.

After that the real drama begins! Hoho

Kind of half heartedly hoping that we do but can't really predict what chelsea's plan is these days.

Apparently he's on a flight to london as well.

He bullies inter defenders

He's looked up for it. Still not sure if his head is here or in milan though.

We killed it for most of the first half. Inter simply couldn't handle our quick passing, movement, and one twos. Great that we got an early strike in,but we needed to capitalise more on our dominance. Morata's headed goal (what else, lol) should have stood,he definitely looked onside.

Hudson odoi has all the makings of a future star. Technique, speed, physicality, intelligence, skill,u name it. It would feel practically impossible to mess this one up but a couple of bad loans/coaches and u never know how things might turn out. This is chelsea after all.

However another youngster who equally deserves just as much praise is ampadu. His composure and passing (yes,he did almost mess it up a couple of times) out from the back is almost laser guided. The lad can pick out a quality ball and it was a joy to watch him and luiz trying to constantly find teammates instead of hoofing it out all the time.

Pedro's movement was excellent but he failed the simple pass a few times which was frustrating. An unmarked morata waiting to tap in comes to mind.

Alvaro did very well, much more purpose and strength on the ball,in addition to that brilliant piece of skill which lead to our opener. Hope he stays.

Bakayoko needs to adapt fast. I mean like, really fast. He's messing up the most basic of passes, and as everyone could see,it was his mistake which lead to the goal. There were glimpses of his brute strenght but that won't be enough to impress sarri imo.

At this rate RLC is miles ahead,so marina and co need to think carefully if we can afford to place him on the bench,or ship him out on loan or something.

I quite liked bulka actually, and willy was a bit shaky when he came on. Superb save to take the game to pens and a solid save during the shootout itself to top it off though. Overall it was a good workout and can't wait to have the full squad back playing in the new system!

Note :slight cause for concern was how we dropped off in intensity for the second half. Hope it's not a fitness issue, although that's expected as it's only preseason.
