how was the speed? can hotspot?

Unifi Mobile is very stable in my area. I'm using it as my home internet with Huawei B618s-65d. Unlimited data RM20/week (this is my first week using it, 65GB usage on 3days).
I could get 15~25mbps most of time (low ping - best for gaming).
Previously, using DiGi infinite 150. Maybe congested in my area 1~35mbps, but 1~7mbps most of the time (high ping - hard to game).

# no unifi fiber in my area, and shitmix only 2mbps supported + frequent DC.

All sifus here, please help :
Unifi mobile.
RSRP = -78dBm
RSRQ = -10db.
SINR = 20db.

Digi infinite m
RSRP = -102dBm
RSRQ = -15db
SINR = 12db

I would like to ask sifus here if Digi infinite is getting same spec like the unifi mobile, will Digi infinite also be getting stable connection (faster speed most of the time)?

Really?They throttle now ? About 2 weeks back the addon was still full speed. Looks like I can't cancel my Digi Infinite now.

Your second sim also bought the add-on?
*
I get the feeling like unifi mobile is starting to throttle speed at 10mbps. I'm using 'unlimited data for RM20/week' (usage at +/- 10gb/day). Two days back, I could get 15-25mbps (most of the time). I tested with my second SIM which is still using the free 10gb data, same max at 10mbps.

Anyone could confirm this, please and thank you?

10 Mbps is still ok. But I am not even sure the 10 Mbps wil last long. Might drop to 5mbps in few mths time.
*
To me, 10mbps is quite good since there isn't much ISP with unlimited data + hotspot + portable with low price atm.
If unifi mobile offers unlimited data + unlimited speed, unifi fiber users would get annoyed.
If unifi mobile throttled to 5mbps, unifi mobile users may get annoyed. Luckily it's not under contract, we could stop using it anytime.

The BEBAS unlimited roughly until when? hmm.gif
*
It's written in the FAQs until 31st July. Only wondering they would extend it or not.
I like this BEBAS weekly unlimited data, it's very stable for all-day + the most affordable plan.

I will use it for a long time to come. I hope they extend.

It'll be bad for them to stop the plan.

Also I hope they increase the speed la.. at least 15-30Mbps. Good enough already sad.gif
*
Of course, if faster many people would sure love it, still unifi mobile coverage isn't very good yet, many places could hardly getting over the capped 10mbps.
For my location, unifi mobile is the best choice, with 10mbps is very good since no unifi fiber here.
If unifi mobile is extending these BEBAS unlimited data, I'll surely be supporting it unless it's getting bad.

Beggar can't be the chooser. We use what's is offer best for us.

Yep. So far this is the best offer. Really no other complaints other than speed.

I'll continue using if they offer RM 80/mth with unlimited data (no FUP too).

TM, take my word for it, I've stopped using UniFi for various reasons, this is your chance to get my money again, hahaha.
*
On the unifi mobile, the FUP is now stated as Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP).
Actually someone here already mentioned that if you used a large amount of data in a short time, you might be capped further (5mbps) for a period of time - not sure how long though.
As I have tried to download to about 4gb in an hour, still haven't got any further capped.
Well, let's just hope unifi mobile will extend BEBAS weekly unlimited data (better to come up with "BEBAS monthly unlimited data" rclxm9.gif or "auto-renew")

May I know the different between Unifi Bebas package and normal Unifi package?

thank you.
*
Are you referring to unifi mobile "add-on" or unifi fiber?
For unifi mobile BEBAS unlimited data, all of these add-on are capped at 10mpbs.
For unifi mobile normal add-on, these are trully high speed data though still depend on location (the highest in my location is 25mbps) and come with high price.

folks.. what to do if i wanna cancel one of the sim i got from previous 5? Actually don't quite like the number. so, wanna cancel one of it and use my current number... another reason is, with 5 sim as maximum, when i request to shift to unifi mobile to retain my current number, unifi mobile not allow due to maximum 5 sim obtained previously... don't want to wait until 90 days for it to expire though...
*
It’s changed to maximum 3 sims per IC now. So, if u could cancelled 1 number (which u cannot), u still exceed the maximum numbers allowed per IC.
I suggest u try to port the numbers to other telco prepaid, it would be faster than it gets terminated itself (90 days). Then, you could try to port your number to unifi mobile.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jun 22 2018, 04:17 PM)
yes, better in this description.
1. with unifi 1 day unlimited, the speed is 10Mbps which means you need 22hours 45min 20sec to finish download 100GB, it is risky as the speed is not constant at 10Mbps, therefore i suggest you to get weekly instead of daily. or u might consider to get digi infinite 150 and use the average speed of 30-50Mbps to download the 100GB and cancel straight after that. they will refund back to you the balance since there is no contract tie to that. RM150/30 = RM5 or you subscribe on month with 31 days will be less than RM5 for 1 day.

2. If you phone got LTE just use your phone and usb to your PC. Getting a mifi might need time to search and buy and additional cost since you are looking for short term high volume internet.
*
You can't subscribe Digi Infinite 150 for only 2 day. On the day of subscribing, you need to pay RM300 advanced fee which will be used to offset the first and second month bills.
Think what, if you terminated it before two months, your advanced payment get forfeited.
BTW, NOT ALL PLACES could get average speed of 30-50mbps, it could get as low as 1mbps which is worst than Shitmix.

no, they can't forfeit, they already mentioned is not tie to any contract and the advance payment can be refunded. if you don't like the speed, you can cancel it within the same day as well.
*
It seems like you're on your first day of using Digi, or maybe you're not using Digi?
Please read the TnC on Digi website.

3.4 In the event of termination of this Agreement either by the Customer or by Digi, all monies owing to Digi shall become immediately due and payable and Digi shall be entitled to offset the Deposit or the Advance Payment paid by the Customer against any amount owing to Digi.

If a Customer prematurely terminates his monthly instalment scheme, all his remaining payment will be forfeited and will not be refunded.
Digi deserves the right to forfeit/not refund the remaining payment credit to the Customer if the Customer fails to promptly pay all Monthly Charges and Monthly Fees as imposed by Digi.

BTW, it's not only the i150, it's for all postpaid plan.

I hope you are right.

Unifi Mobile provides the best service in my area.

My alternatives are shitmix 4mbps or digi (in)finite 150. Both are lousy.
*
You’re not alone, still you’re better than mine.
Here only 2mbps shitmix supported and still getting intermittent DC.
Actually, I feel the TM “free upgrade” is just blank talk or useless for MANY PEOPLE. yawn.gif
They are NOT CAPABLE to upgrade many places and then still charges us the same (just like NOTHING different).

We can only hope this unifi mobile BEBAS unlimited add-on extending. notworthy.gif

Once you're on BEBAS weekly unlimited, everyone will be 10mbps only laugh.gif .
Their high speed data packages are rather expensive to use.
And, it's nearing end of JULY. Still wonder if unifi mobile would extend their BEBAS unlimited.

RM20 weekly for 10mbps is still cheap...
as long as it steady 10mbps like landline broadband, it is good enough...
i tested digi unlimited RM8 package, Celcom Broadband and Yoodo... all give suck speed..
hardly hit 5mbps at my house..
Unifi steadily 10mbps all time when downloading. rclxms.gif
*
Of course, I do agree with u coz I'm also using this BEBAS unlimited and I trully LOVE it. It has a very stable speed + a very good latency.
i wish unifi mobile would extend BEBAS unlimited or better come up with new unlimited - maybe monthly or capped 20mbps @ a bit higher price)

QUOTE(aizamev @ Jul 19 2018, 04:23 PM)
unifi will extend BEBAS unlimited plan until september. maybe because new campaign is still running until september.

Yes, good to see it's still the same capped at 10mbps for the BEBAS unlimited monthly @ RM55.
Just hope it won't change in any time, and extend it further as well.

because you connect to band 5.
band 5 = 5mps, band 40 = 40mps  biggrin.gif  laugh.gif
i dont think unlimited RM55 malaysia deal will extended another month. like that people dont buy unlimited 20x4 anymore
*
Please don't misguide other people.
My home only has 'band 5'. With its high/free data, I could reach 25mbps.
If you said band 5 = 5mbps, then Maxis or Digi with B3 + B7 = 10mbps ONLY?
If you said they come up with monthly plan, NO ONE would buy 20x4, right? Then, what for RM3 for 2-hours unlimited and RM5 for A DAY existed?

BTW, it seems thing started to change, now i could get 5mbps max on this promo "Bebas monthly unlimited for RM55".
Is it my network or anyone feel like further capped (5mbps)?

Maybe, my home area started to have some congestion cause my sister said at certain time speed would be a bit slow.
Now returned to 10mb, just hope everything remained.

If you're B618s-22d, people said it doesn't show on modem pages.
If it's B618-65d, then log-in to modem > settings > system > device information. It shows there.
Oops, are u asking about checking connected LTE band and mhz?
