Interesting, suddenly without asking, Digi has given me 30GB monthly YouTube for my Postpaid 80.

I'll take it, thanks!

DiGi WiFi Calling seems to be working overseas now. So far, it's appeared on my phone in SG, HK, JP (and it works). Test it in other countries soon tongue.gif

Of course you will still be charged, that was for the period from 1st to 31st May.
Next month you won't see it.

It eats into your local minutes when you are on WiFi Calling is it ? So if you are on unlimited plan, you don't have to pay roaming fee when making or accepting calls overseas ?

You can terminate it anytime. Your bill will be pro-rated. So yeah. If you have no use for it anytime, the sooner you terminate the line the more money you can save.

I believe so... In addition, making IDD calls from overseas if you have an IDD addon (like the free 60 minutes that you get with DiGi Family) is taken from your IDD addon minutes... so wherever you are with WiFi calling, you can call the IDD countries like you would in Malaysia. Hopefully WiFi calling is enabled worldwide... would be really useful (and cost effective).

Guys, wanna ask. Just now I’m porting to Digi. Staff recommend plan with rm90 monthly & 30gb, unlimited call. But, I searching around digi website, there is no plan with rm90 monthly or even 30gb internet quota. I’m confused 🧐

I feel that Digi charged me wrongly for my latest bill. My Infinite 150 with 6% GST is 159. I do understand I will still need to pay for the GST until 31st May.

Now the question comes, my billing cycle is from 8th May to 7th June.
May: 8th to 31st May - 24 days (GST-able)
June: 1st to 7th June - 7 days (non-GST-able)

I believe it should be pro-rated which derives to as below:
(150/31x24 + 6%) + (150/31x7 + 0%) = 156.97

I understand the difference is minimal but imagine indeed this is a mistake for those with cross month billing cycle? That's a lot of money!

Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect. I have escalated to Digizens and let's see what's their explanation. I will update here accordingly.

Tq bro. I think this one. Need to wait until porting successful & reconfirm using digi app.

Fedup with umobile. Recently their coverage really unstable, frequently no service. I’m okay if no 4g, but no service is unacceptable.

This is a valid point, but I think it is very hard for them to implement this kind of accounting for something that is one-off, plus it doesn't post a significance to most ppl. Ideally if they could do it it would be the best, but we have to check and see other telcos if they did it or not... hmm.gif

Still it's wrong. Imagine those billing cycle on 20th to 19th (for e.g.)? May only 11 days but pay for full month GST? Doesn't make sense at all.

It's all done by the system, not manually calculated. Just put in cutoff date and pro-ration is available in their system all this while.
