based on online picture, seem like xtremeskin do have cutting edge for Huawei naming.. if yes then really cool.. i saw other like dbrand/mojo skin @ 1U is fully cover..

i have face it once.. very scary actually.. none of button except power button is working.. the one i experienced is during camera app.. suddenly hang after press shutter button.. few minutes and it restarted after i pressed volume down + power button for quite a while..

that one is unique case.. i have tried several times to have wefie more than 6 people.. max up to 18 people..

tried portrait or auto mode.. no issue as well.. sometimes all these things might be software issue, which encourage everyone get latest update..

Mine like 30 minutes can get minimum 40% or up to 50%..

Once you go for flagship then you can't turn back..

Although the mid range in market currently are really more than enough to handle day to day tasks without much lag issue.. but when the time you need more powerful or better camera output, you will find flagship is better..

haha same.. i went to Mi A1, hmm SD625, battery life superb and less heat.. but always feel lack of something.. so sold and get new phone again.. thsi time give it a try to P20.. But i'm a bit regret to buy it since day 1 launch in Msia after watched a lot of video in youtube about P20..

during the time i keep struggling to buy P20 or XZ2.. in the end i go for p20 for lesser rm700..

recently tried to apply soft screen protector that called 水凝膜. something like X-One screen protector type.. gel type.. very interesting protector.. not easy as tempered glass and it got a lot of bubbles.. but interesting parts is those bubbles will disappear after certain of hours.. after 24 hours, almost 95% of bubbles will disappear and left minor area to be stick on screen completely..

wrinkle marks and dust collector seem yes to me.. this is my first time to use this kind of SP.. will further observe for 1 month and see.. some sort like coating of Mobile Outfitters.. but this is much sticky than outfitters.

Hmm.. I think original that applied one is quite good though.. tempered glass nowadays which i can feel something applied on top of screen.. one thing of benefits of gel type SP which u wont realize something really on top of screen..


front camera 720p, no stabilisation.. kirin 970 soc.. 4k no stabilisation.. 960fps a bit like lesser frame compare with Sony or Samsung flagships.. other than camera shooting software deliver quite good of experience and output, video shooting is a bit downside.. EMUI provide many options which is good..

The original film that on phone is a thicker plastic protector after I peel it off.. hmm it can protect normal scratches but not sharp objects or drop I guess.

For scratches resistant I guess tempered glass still is the best option.. but I don't like to see like the glass is floating on my screen especially noticeable when you're unlock the phone by fingerprint. Now using gel type screen protector and feel smooth on touching and nice..

Me installed it. Nothing special except camera ui include Amazon assistant apps. Which is useless to me

i got that previously since 1st day launched and i gave to my gf.. i did test the AM61 headset.. sounds not bad though.. connection okay to me and my gf headset.. 1 good things is magnetic between left and right earphone.. which is important to sport user.. even my jabra sport pace do not have this magnetic feature..

it isnt for a long period? ok.. some bluetooth headset not stable enough for a short duration just after connected to device.. example, once you are connected then u straight play music in phone.. then u will have audio issue. what u have to do, is just wait about 30 seconds and then u only try to play music and see.. let see whether this play to u.. 2nd, u can test by calling to other people.. AM61 works for calling too..

if not then probably u may have faulty unit.. sent for warranty claim if so.. but before that, test my suggestion first..

need to ask them and see which merchant machine they're providing.. maybe only certain bank are accepted with 0% installment..

exactly.. feel the same with you. .the super slow mo in p20 series seem like overclaimed.. definitely in level if compare with XZ2/samsung s9 series..

P20 series are really good in still image and software processing like aperture mode, portrait mode and night mode.. video shooting also 1 of weakness.. no more for Huawei flagship in future.. quite regret didnt topup another few hundreds for XZ2.

the software/issue for my p20:
1. chromecast usage - when i cast video to TV through chromecast, all my other phone able to control volume/video duration even after a duration. however, huawei software seem over control/freeze the usage until i have to wake the screen and turn that apps, then i only able to control the volume.. sometimes the cast control disconnected between p20 and chromecast (video playing on TV, but phone lost control). - i didnt turn on any power saving mode/ disable app launch automatically.. manual make sure the apps running in background and auto launch if close.

2. charging.. im used to charged my phone with powerbank (aukey, yoobao, romoss) all genuine products and they able to stop charging after phone fully charged and powerbank turned off automatically. now P20 cannot have that.. every morning i wake up and i saw my powerbank still in ON mode and charging my p20.. something wrong/different charging tech between huawei and my powerbank (support QC2.0 and normal 5V2A).

3. dont have control to mirror screen to TV anymore.. mirrorshare is not working for my case..

4. no google feeds in stock launcher.. no choice have to dump huawei home launcher and use my paid NOVA launcher (coming from xperia device, which always have google feeds when swipe left to right). luckily nova launcher can install integration nova google companion to support back.. i always get my news through google feeds..

the key issue for my case is 2. charging prob.. luckily we have super charge adaptor and i have to charge it completely before i went sleep.


overall, the camera still images are really good and a lot of customisation available. somehow AI/vivid mode are too fake based on my liking.. but luckily we able to turn off in option unlike mate 10 series. night mode is a great option but somehow not suitable for all lowlight scene.. prefer use Pro mode to bring much natural photo..

New update appear in my p20.. just a security patch , for June.. while Sony are pushing July security patches.. however, better than nothing.. hope huawei keep this kind of security patches up to date.

no update available for P20.. I guess just P20 Pro users got the GPU turbo update for now.. should be soon for P20 user then
