Battery life of p20 is moderate to me. Not bad but not impressive.

Basically Facebook consumed most of the battery life. My full 24/7 wear OS also keep prompt the intensive apps. But I believe Bluetooth doesn't take much of battery life. So I strongly suspect Facebook really took a lot of battery life from all phone

each phone have its own pros & cons in camera aspect..

Huawei P & mate series came with Leica definitely come with Leica feeling which is unique colour & output..

Sony in the video is deliver natural colour & accurate white balance..

correct.. nothing wrong on each manufacturers.. its really based on their marketing research and their engineer designed in that way.. Personally i think Sony still is a strong player in smartphone camera.. probably may not be liking by majority.. but it really deliver a good & natural photos as per what we see in most cases.. except some scene the post processing will increase saturation..

The huawei AI recognition scene is nothing a hype actually after i used for a week + for P20. Sony have implement Superior Auto (Intelligent Auto mode) in many years ago.. but one thing huawei is good is that aperture & portrait mode which i really need to praise on it.. nowadays people like to have a smartphone camera that can mimic like DSLR, that's why dual camera that lead by Huawei initially been so much popular for now..the software can really 99% determine foreground and background accurately.. very few artificial error can be found in huawei photo.. thumbs up for this one..

is X-One really good? actually i found a shop in Penang that offer this SP for P20.. but they said it's not full screen covered.. and the feel is like a soft thin tpu..

shopee is going for RM45 only while mobile shop here is offer at rm79..

i knew this is soft SP and can eliminate/absorb some hit on SP which may prevent screen crack.. just wonder it isnt strong enough to prevent scratches on it like glass.. glass SP is harder to be scratched but this is softer SP..

im looking forward to this SP too but waiting fr some reviews from forumers..

it's really depend on business direction & roadmap.. most companies have few years roadmap for future products..

as per what i said, it's really depend on user preference.. some prefer natural white balance, colours for overall.. some prefer high saturated & vibrant colour.. some prefer details.. some prefer easy auto mode like iphone, some prefer manual pro mode.. so it's really depend on the design enginneer team and business directions..

probably end product like Sony may not get the buy off from consumers, but cant deny Sony still have very strong place in camera industry..

haha ya.. nowadays a flagship can easy last for 3 years or more (if your device is take care well and do not face any function not functioning)

average to say RM3k for a flagship.. 1 year spent RM100 for a phone.. high income is a must to follow the trend.. LOL

night shot really can adjust the exposure and present it in really well exposure..

this is not really achieve by sensor alone.. it is more on software pro processing.. to combine multiples frame with different exposure.. my personal opinion only.. but really the results is really impressive..

can la.. just try dont charge the phone overnight lo.. Huawei P20 doesnt auto cut the charging after full 100%.. i used to my previous sony phone by using powerbank to charge it overnight.. cause Sony phone will auto cut the current input & powerbank will off automatically after phone reached 100% for some duration..

but P20 seems couldnt do that, i've tested few nights ady and i found my powerbank still on and charging the phone.. probably no protection between the phone with my powerbank.. not sure how is it if use Huawei powerbank.

so my next plan is use huawei fast charger to full charge the phone before i go sleep.

okay.. I'm using 2 powerbanks in my test.. both supported Qualcomm quick charge, not huawei fast charge.. both are not working in my case.. Probably only Huawei powerbank can communicate with Huawei phone and do the cut off?!

i'm not sure about that.. but yes.. auto cut off/overcharge protection should be there.. im sure my powerbank do ahve overcharge protection.. but just maybe different charging technology between powerbank and Huawei, so possible it didnt function well.. so i guess only huawei powerbank may help on this scenario.. probably need to have someone with huawei powerbank to test out..

not going to get it for this purpose la.. so far not really need powerbank to carry around cause P20 serve me well in term of battery life.. but im used to use powerbank to charge my phone overnight in the past cause the overcharge protection and auto cut off the charging after battery reach full.. but seems my powerbank and P20 cannot communicate well, so i have to charge my phone ahead before i sleep..

indeed.. impressive power charging speed.. 30 minutes could get me about 50% of battery life..

shared before.. my first/second day do passby PJ area and i entered there too.. they have glass SP for P20 models too.. RM1 only.. im quite surprised and they knew im not resident over there.. LOL.. the shop people said they are doing long term promo like that.. RM1 for walk-in and RM3 for take away..

How to enable Google feed in huawei hiboard? It's blank content. Even Google widget are showing blank until I clicked and go into Google apps only can see the news..

As I know only normal p20 do have pink gold.. I having it now.

From comparison above, night shot able to get better overall exposure for each area. So night shot is useful for daytime or backlight scene, not necessary use for night time only..

P20 able to deliver quite good camera outputs. But color may not be accurate for sometimes. I often turn off AI scenes cause it's boost up saturation and contrast. Night shot able to deliver super sharp and details shot. But it's feel over processed and not feeling natural actually. Depend on your preferences. Use as per your liking..
