As expected, in less than a week, Android's ugly flaw has started showing on my P20 Pro.

Two nights ago, I charged the phone to 100%, plugged it out at about 11pm and the next morning at 7am, it was at 95%. Last night, I charged to 100%, plugged it out at 10.30pm, and this morning at 6am, it was at 85%. WiFi and 4G was enabled, but I also engaged DND mode. My company email (Exchange Services) was the culprit last night, according to the battery stats.

To put this in context, the first two nights I used the phone with the same charging pattern, the overnight drain was just 2%

Note 8 need charge twice a day.
P20 series just 1 time only.

I've given up on monitoring the overnight drain already, haha. It ranges from 2% to 6% for me with WiFi and 4G on (with DND mode). I can't achieve 0% drain as someone here did, well, not with the apps I have installed anyway

Anyways, this is interesting, but no support yet for P20 devices.

I dont care if the battery efficiency is better or not, u pay rm5k and they put 2700mah inside, that's a no go

And regardless what mah they put, as long as they last longest, we consumer will appreciate that

There is no "if", it is what it is, heck, if nokia 3310 put 10mah if will last for half a year

I get ur points, we all know iphone battery efficiency is the highest, duh? (its been like that since iPhone 4)

Next Android phone efficiency would be oneplus, especially with snapdragon 845 and samsung great panel

I dont think their decision to put smaller mah despite very great efficiency is "impressive", they know they could, but they just won't (they want you to upgrade)

im deciding between P20 pro or mate 10 pro. at fisrt thinking to get the mate 10 pro but then the difference is not that much with p20 pro. any point for me ?

Smartphones aren't intended as replacement to underwater cameras. IP ratings are there for accidental drops and spills.
I went for the P20 instead of the P20 Pro mainly because of the size. I know the P20 Pro is small for a 6.1 inch phone but the length isn't the problem for me but the width. Too wide and my hands will hurt. Add a case and it is worse.

If you don't mind an LCD panel (mind you, a very beautiful LCD display), then go for the P20.
As for the camera, both are equally capable (a tech reviewer even said the P20 is more consistent overall).

The only advantage I can think of with the P20 Pro is the 3x optical zoom.
No hybrid zoom can match a really good hardware.

will the 4gb and the 6gb ram differs a lot?

First time hitting 6 hours +

No biggie. I hit 4.5 hrs sot with heavy facebooking and left 38% on a pro.

The other was trying to snap a pic of my 3 years old daughter and the AI was detecting her as 'pet'  Guess she's small and keeps moving while taking the picture

I sold mine to a friend last week and I still miss my P20 until now.

I purchased the HTC U11+ (being a solid HTC fan), and I just realized why Huawei has overtaken one of the Android leaders in the industry.

No, it's NOT about the camera (give and take, both phones are excellent in their own way).
It's all about the overall user experience.

I hate to admit the fact that HTC Sense is as dated as the old HTC One M8.
Nothing has changed and being boring has no place in 2018.
My first ever HTC phone was the HTC One M7 which I think is THE BEST Android smartphone in its time.
The following year, I bought my first Huawei - the Ascend P6.
But then I missed HTC so much so I moved on to the HTC One M8 (which again is the best smartphone that year).
Ironically, the tables have turned.
I miss Huawei badly that I am thinking of selling (or keeping for old time's sake) my U11+ for the P20.

I just recently received my huawei twilight 2 days back and enjoying it so far, only issue is that my spare charger in the office which is a Samsung adaptive fast charging charges the phone slow. Indication shows it will take 2 hours for full charge from 20%-100%, which is something I can't afford. Any of you have any recommendation where to buy a spare super charger with good a good price? Lazada and Shopee chargers seems to be only selling good imitation even if it says 100% original. All Sifu please help!
