This is hand held nightmode lah you simply cannot take this kind of photo with other cameras without a tripod. That kind of conditions is not easy to get a photo, usually have to choose quick exposure+ high iso(end up have to try many times either way) or use flash that makes photo ugly. Furthermore if use to print 4r pictures, you telling me that shot not usable? Pixel peeping is kinda missing the point.

Furthermore you look at some of the complains, some say too sharp some say not clear so is it too sharp or too blur?

Thanks for the photos. The image quality of this photo above in low light is good. Noise is not so visible if looking at the faces especially the lady guitarist and the singer. Lines are sharp with very little smearing and detail is rather good if looking at the instruments at the back. I think the LG V20 that I have will not be able to produce this quality - low noise and rather good clarity and detail in low light.

However, the other picture showing the lights, similarly like ijuanp03 I think there's too much processing (or noise reduction) involved as the colours are smeared and look like watercolour painting. Having said that, the photo above has shown the P20 to have a rather good low light performance.

Not too sure if there are some good samples of the P20 / P20 Pro in good day light..

not trying to be an ass but the tree photo was really badly shot. so blur i think the camera chose the wrong shutter speed for your hands

Correct. The P20 processing needs some tweaking. Hopefully will be fixed with the next update. I can't wait!

Gorgeous color for Huawei P20 pro!

Hi everyone, just wondering if your p20 pro has some weird wifi issue when connected to public wifi that requires login (e.g. airport free wifi).

So the wifi is connected and initially having great internet access, but after some idle time (around 20 mins) or so, the internet access seems to be gone and I need to turn on and off the wifi for it to reconnect in order to get back internet access.

Is there any settings on this? I've tried restarting network setting, turned on and off wifi+ but still same.

Used p20 pro almost a week. Am user for oneplus device. For me, i dont really feel impressive except for the camera part only. Uninstalled and disable those bloatware that came pre-installed since day one.

Battery life of huawei just average only. Only manage to get 6h sot (single sim) on 4k mah battery compared to 9-10hr sot (dual sims) on op 5t with 3.3k mah battery. Both phones instslled with exactly same app.

Gps - fast and accurate. So fast no issue

GUI - prefer the clean gui like oneplus.still learning to use emui.

Speed - snapdragon is far better than kirin. P20 pro always hang when open too many apps. But never had issue on oneplus. Kirin still need to improve.

Phone signal - huawei is better. Can get 4g on p20 pro but oneplus can only get 3g at basement or indoor

Hands on- p20p is heavier and thicker, oneplus is slimmer and lighter due to battery capacity.

Software - oneplus has more support on xda while limited support for p20pro.

Currently using onrplus as main device while p20p as secondary phone. Hope huawei can improve further. Overall p20pro is still the best phone atm.

Is that your first camera? Usually photography enthusiasts wouldn't use phones as their main camera. But the best camera is still the one with you, so sometimes you'd have to make do with your phone.

You could also opt for the One Plus phones or Google Pixel. Blazing fast but much more expensive than the Xiaomi. The Pixel IMHO has a better camera than the P20 Pro in terms of processing of the colours and how natural it looks. The P20 Pro is over processed like the Samsungs.

I had such arguments for too many times.. but end up, i just can't live with non-flagship phone.. later u-turn also still buy flagship phone. Lol.. if not, really true bro, buy a decent phone and a camera is better than hoping for your phone to take camera job 100%..

Anybody feels the knock knuckle screenshot is kinda hit and miss? Sometimes need to knock few times. It wont register.

do you guys think that 10MP is a little low? i think that's why i feel my pictures are blur.
