Can still charge right as normal charge  but won't charge as  the fast charge
*
Yeah can. I at office use my friend's One Plus to charge. It's not as fast as the Supercharge but not too slow too. Acceptable for me.

Kind of annoying photo auto mode sometimes apply too much HDR when '"sharpening photo, please steady etc".

Need to open pro mode and just point and shoot to avoid that auto HDR-like picture and get natural colors

Hopefully they really improve it in upcoming 132 updates on rear camera.
*
Actually I kinda like that.

Had tried before on various other HW phones
It will first detect whether your phone is compatible before is downloaded and install
Quite easy and straightforward process
Compatibility will depend on age of your phone. It could be incompatible now but could be days or weeks later
I think the software identify first your firmware and date phone is manufacture
No harm trying if you are interested

Seems handy having this app. Now no need to wait for the OTA then

If use firmware finder I remember need to unlock bootloader. Fortunately still have time because come 22nd July, Huawei will stop giving unlock codes to unlock the bootloader.

So far the one I've come across that enables you to customize build version, reflash single sim to dual sim and more is FKHuawei. But that one need to pay.

In order to unlock your boot loader need a password for each phone. Huawei currently is opening the website for the unlock password. After this they will close the site and cannot get the unlock code for bootloader. I got mine the first day bought it and unlock it
*
If you unlock means your phone no longer under warranty?

i think unlock bootloader still keep warranty intact.. it is just like enabling developer mode.. for example many other android phone already come with unlocked bootloader out of box.. but once flashed custom rom, then yes might affect warranty, but depends on the manufacturer warranty policy of course.. i remeber last time with htc phone, they dont care if you ever flash custom rom as long as when u send in for warrantty it does not use custom rom, means flashed back to original.. or sometime they simply dont check.. in contrast with SME, there is knox trigger which they will check

Oh thanks, just got my code smile.gif

Got tired waiting for the GPU Turbo Update so I went ahead and unlock the bootloader (I got the code and saved it somewhere before the website went down). Reflash the firmware downloaded from Huawei Server to CLT-L29C636 8.1.0.152.

So first thing after installing the firmware is to fire up PUBG, one of my favorite game.

Went to graphics > switch to smooth and frame rate > Extreme
AA > Enable
Auto Adjust Graphic > Enable

So far my gaming experience has been smooth..no noticeable lag at all except rare stutters (Acceptable for me)..and the game no longer prompts me to lower graphics when entering town like Pochinki or Rozhok. Battery life no noticeable improvement.

But the good thing about the update is they introduced gaming center, which is useful since u can mute all notifications and reject all calls. biggrin.gif

Lots of improvement to PUBG.
But I notice device run a little hot and battery life drain faster.
