True, in Korea even we got 100Mbps fiber but average 20-30Mbps is more than enough already...

Same with Taiwan, but their line is extremely strong and stable, hardly disconnect or bumpy speed...
LOL, 100Mbps is enough for me and my families, just 3 of us and mostly time just light surfing...

If I need SuperInternet, I'll renting VPS for Gigabits speed for short-term... 

My point still stands - we have a monopoly here, so it's quite fair to compare with monopolized ISPs elsewhere (most notably the US and some European countries)

They was using DOCSIS 3.0 to delivery internet access and TV for every households at AFFORDABLE PRICES...

 
Now I'm pretty sure many of those SLOWMYX is TRIPLED ON FIRES since mostly was not eligible for speed upgrades and still paid over RM110-180 for same shits...

Not sure. Got other factors in play. One is the capacity going to your Taman. If this is the case, you probably see some cable laying works going on now or soon. My taman, TM started laying cables again about 2 weeks ago. They also did this last May before rolling out the TQSurprise free upgrades in Sep. Dunno if current works are related to the 10x upgrade or just increasing ports. Location of the current works is different. This time it's more inside the Taman. Last time it was coming into the Taman.

Two is the uplink capacity of the OLTs. OLTs are what the BTU/ONTs connect to. I heard some older OLTs will have to be replaced entirely while some will just need an upgrade of the uplink. Kinda like changing your PC's network card from 100mbps to 1Gbps, 10Gbe or even 40Gbe.
