So is this the Celcom problem? I talked to the stuff at Blue Cube they were clueless and don't know what to do. Seems like they don't know much about anything about their Wireless Broadband product

Web gui? Any link? So if we change the DNS on the modem it won't slow down the speed?

My line was off a few times for about 10 minutes each time since yesterday. Gosh...I can't afford to go off line as I'm doing trading and every minutes/second counts

The speed is so slow until the line disconnected by itself. What happen to Celcom?  mad.gif

If they don't do some serious improvement/upgrade I reckon within 2 years the line gonna get congested and slow down and even no signal would happen like most wireless broadband.

The line is so unstable and out of sudden disconnected from the network. Really bad since yesterday evening. Not sure what is going on despite asking them to do reset of the network. But result still the same.

I experience this since few days ago. At least disconnect once a day each time for few minutes. I wonder is this very common for wireless broadband

Lately the speed drop drastically from 98Mbps to 52Mbps. In few more months might be come Unifi and few more months become Streamyx

Your speed is still acceptable within this range. My connection speed drop from 60mbps to 7~8mbps at 9pm. Even this morning the speed is reached at 40++mbps. I had reported this issue to Celcom Customer Care and now waiting for their rectification in 3 working days.
*
Wow....something is seriously wrong. I wonder how long can this Celcom Wireles Broadband can last

Dear sifu

Just want to get some advise from all of you
Plan to get RM70 plan

Usually use Alone,
Some time will use YouTube abit, some time will play Astro Go abit.

1 month will crazy like 2 or 3 day play astro go like 10 episod

Is RM 70 plan  is it  enough?

Now using streamyx 1M, price almost the same, no issue in load YouTube and astro go.. just some time load others video for different website take long time to load

Tq in advance
*
Sounds like RM70 plan should be good enough unless you download movie/series torrents like crazy. Surprise to know that Streamyx 1M can run YouTube and Astro Go smoothly. Anyway, lately when I click on any Astro channel (on PC Chrome) nothing happen. I tried clear cache, reboot...still nothing happen. Do you have this issue?

I found out that I have this problem only with Celcom Wireless Broadband. When I switch to Maxis, TM and UMobile I can watch Astro on the go with no problem through Chrome. Now I'm using TM to go online as I'm unable to go into internet with Celcom Wireless Broadband since yesterday even though the signal is full. Really feel being cheated and I'll be unsubscribing Celcom soon.
Anyway what do you guys think of Unifi Wireless Broadband?

Dang! They just cancelled Netflix from Video Walla without officially informing the users! I just scolded them for not informing us! We pay for a subscription to Netflix and if they just change like that, I ask them will they refund the subscription to us? This is a joke!
*
So did they refund to you?

1) Never
2) Nope
3) icloud backup for me uses data the most. 1 day could go up to 20gb. I almost finish 150GB every month
4) Asus default should be 192.168.50.1
5) Message them on FB. Compare your quota from Celcom’s website & Modem’s usage page to find whether you are using Video Walla quota or not
6) 15 computers? Normal

I can't even register with Celcom website because I don't have a Celcom phone line. How can I know my usage vs Video Walla usage? Anyway when I asked them about my usage at Celcom FB they said Celcom FB deal with phone line they don't deal with Celcom Wireless Broadband and asked me to call 1-300 number to ask which is RM0.30 per min. This is too much.

Yeah I did that and they told me need to have a Celcom phone line to be able to register with the website. Very ineffective I believe they are gradually driving customers away

I did go to Blue Cube and that was what they told me. You mean you manage to register without having to have a Celcom phone line?

Normal if they taken out from Video Walla for Netflix. Celcom got their right to do anything to their T&C. I subscribed to Celcom Platinum Package, so far not able to finished up the data given by them despite watching 4K or 8K videos. Of course not under Netflix or iFlix. Astro is the way to watch drama or movies.
*
I'm with Celcom Gold and I was told by Blue Cube that I have finished off my quota with 10 more days to go. I just watch some youtube and Astro on the go (they are suppose to be on Video Wella) also some low res movies download but I wonder can that finished up my quota so fast. Do I really need Platinum Package to be able to use TVBox? I really wonder would Platinum Package enough for TVBox. Anyway does Astro has 4K and 8K videos?

First month speed is promising. When come to subsequent months, you may realized the speed throttle down a lot. Do take note their marketing gimmicks.

Do you mean Celcom or Digi?

if able to have fibre broadband service is the best for better & stable connection.. but somehow i believe people will go for wireless broadband are due to lack of service in the location..

example, my condo building due to newly CCC recently and still waiting to TM to connect unifi services into the building.. collecting demand from owners but somehow not everyone going to subscribe it yet..

i will prefer 10mbps averagely will do.. but celcom wireless broadband seem offer more than the speed.. hopefully the connection is stable and do as it is.
*
I have the same problem at my area. It has been more than 15 years and still no fiber cable. Seems like people around my area are happy with 4mbps max speed and I am the only one asking for fiber cable
