Not sure about the rest, I'm not keen on WeChat if they have no promotion or extra benefit. Even if they have 90% reach to all merchants, 99% uptime/stable and 99% seamless, the min they need is to at least match credit card benefits if not more.

Probably their target market is for those without credit card.

Like very tiring getting the RM 12 haha, so many steps. Still miss the Petron promo, easy....

Maybe first few hundred give high amount then rely on word of mouth, once many ppl use then reduce the shake reward

I go quite often too, their food is ok with reasonable price.
Used tng when it has shake, and then Boost when amt less than RM 20. But WeChat a bit boring unless they have new promo

Honestly I think 2k is good enough, better than not being able to use. For high value item I believe most likely able to use our CC or worst just pay with cash lor.
I hate China is when those streets or small value spending need to dig cash and coins, so with this 2k I supposed it can cover lots of spending already.

Can't wait to visit China and try out
