hi.. what's a good brand for gpu nowadays? lots of funny2 names now.

I've used Sapphire and MSI previously (more than 15 years ago).

so all brands are equally reliable when it comes to GPU?
what about warranty/RMA.. I'm sure there will be a preferred brand when it comes into after-sales support.

let them scalpers stock up the cards.. when the time comes, they will need to offload the gpus at a loss once prices start to go down. but then, it is hard to expect when the price will stabilize and go down

no need to wait for RTX40.. intel's ARC GPU already disrupting TSMC queue

i7+rtx3070 cheaper than i5+rtx3060

they have to honor. if not, they might give you a refund or exchange with the i5-3060. who knows.

usually the base model is single fan.. maybe zotac using 2fans pic to bait ppl.. hehe

Yeah local gpu prices drop for the past few weeks but lately the prices are stagnant.

Stocks are piling.. dont know how long they can tahan holding high prices.

Maybe not your favorite brand but can be used to gauge other gpu prices:



3060 below rm2k. 3070 rm3k.

in line with their other products, TuF is the more affordable gaming variant (ROG is higher-end). for gpus, they have 'non-gaming' line that sit below TuF, like single fan model, Dual & KO.

I went from 8th gen i7 to 11th gen i7 can feel the oomph already, what more if 12th gen.. hehehe..

Time to upgrade the whole ecosystem (gpu, cpu, mobo, ram) hehehehe

Their tactic to negate the loss for holding the gpu stocks. When bundle with pc build, they can put in junk parts with high prices.

Only participating shop and selected products. And only if you collect their bonus since a couple of days before the sale.

So far prices are okay but seems comparable to current market prices. I think i saw Galax rtx3070 for just under rm3k and MSI rtx3060 below rm2k, colorful rtx3050 rm1.5k (all after deduct the laz bonus RM). Not so enticing lah tbh.

took them a while to join the bandwagon

sure ada potential.. but not sure how's the raytracing gonna be like. but we need intel to come in and disturb the market so that gpu prices remain reasonable.

usually laz/shopee scammers will use random characters for their username. and they will ask you to PM to deal.
