if 1650 is 1.5K, better off going to hunt for gtx1070 at 1K that will have more performance and more Vram. Unless you really need to get a full set bundle then not much choice.

Depends on what you're going to use it. For light/medium gaming, sure.

the alternative is spending time hunting for non-scalped used ones at these times and see if luck is on your side.

positive words: 1650 Super is a good card to keep as a backup GPU even years later since it is one of the best value GPU for HTPC/Plex rigs/light gaming (other than GTX 1050/1050ti/1060), that supports NVENC encoding and HDCP 2.2 (for Netflix streaming @4k if paired with older pre-Kaby Lake 7th gen CPU too).

Diff class and power consumption ... so very hard to beat.
Need to rajin check garrage sales, facebook marketplace, carousell daily. Sure can find.

1650 super should have 1280 cuda iinm, can OC later to get higher boost depending on the cooler and temps.

I just checked. Those existing fan are high CFM fan. so if it is at max, it is loud  but push lots of air.
I would just use it for the time being. I will crank it to max and test the temps.

Here is the update.

I rebuilt the PC using only 3 components from Dell, the CPU, the RAM, and GPU.
I used ASUS Strix Z590-A Gaming.

Here is the result.



I don't know if I did it wrong, but I am unable to increase the clock speed or tighten the timing after raising the voltage to 1.4V.
The best I can do is push 3200 MHz to CL19 (XMP profile is CL20 for this).

My Shadow of the Tomb jumped to 151 FPS @ 1080p (compared to 110 FPS @ 1080p when I first got my Dell).
The motherboard also removes the TDP limit of 65 W, allowing all cores to boost to 4.4 GHz at all times.

Guys, you may refer to MSIAB graph attached below. Have a look. Is it normal having GPU usage up and down that often?

Seeing more and more used GPU being listed in the market. Unfortunately the prices are still high (>9k for 3080) but you can kinda tell that these people are trying to offload to unsuspecting buyers who don’t know the current state of crypto mining. If the downward crypto momentum maintains, expect 5k/6k used 3080’s to flood the market real soon.
