sharing, if this might help others;

- my system during running and sudden it blank with no display. however at back end still sound, and windows 11 running.
- force restart and fine again. issue appear random, 5min to 1+ hours.. it goes blank again.
- win11 with selective startup, DDU driver .. nvidia updated. yes latest. not pirate, and not mining 2nd gpu.
- within idle also screen goes blank or gaming no direct indicator what causing issue.
- all at default, msi afterburner removed.
- remove bios battery, set bios default.. change cable.. none work.


then doing some details check on event viewer. it blast some of error;

after days to almost give up.. with no google solution .. i removed gpu, clean up contact with rubber eraser, swipe with cloth plug in back and solved. yes. it totally working good now.

3060 Ti, 1 1/2 year corsair RM750 series. all part consider new.

first i was consider OS / System level issues.

it solved by replug gpu. last was 8 months back.

4070 ti , with capable of new tech and rival to 3080 up to 3090 ti

do we admit it good?

with current dealer, retails.. side of pricing, look like yes for me.

setting my Nvidia control with power performance mode;

previous own 3060 ti, no issues with idle temp.vertical at 38-40c
but with 3080 ti , same config goes 50-52c

there none mention that change to performance mode will increase idle power usage / heat.. google and it point some of reddit user issues to.

revert to normal.. then back to 38-40c.. i never know this impact on gpu idle..



just test few OC tweak, yes able to score TimeSpy with 21k point.

i could not find angle adaptor for RTX3 series FE.

similar symptom, middle of work/gaming, screen off, machine running, gpu fans stop. rtx3080 ti.

boot 2-3 then will only ok. else blank screen. a months of this happening.

change gpu riser cable.
and
my mobo msi z590 enable resizable bar that might the cause. as for now, i revert last change. look ok.

likely, 4xxx series benefit more with Frame Generation enable.

yes, we oldies need to move on for new graphic card benefits.

one of my concern on PSU.. for 2 to 3 series .. connection, compatible ngam..

then 4 series, got connector issue. i guess early adaptor with brand new PSU frustrated. $$ .. not everyone got replacement cable. and might current old stock, old connector.

now PSU connection mature, hope it resolve other concern earlier.
